What are you gonna do? Throw C-Bills at me? Hide behind the Fed Suns part of your Commonwealth?

If he does, can I talk to you about a wonderful investment opportunity? Clan Diamond Shark has several vintage Star League mechs for sale, and their estimated value raises by the day...

Instead of overpriced vintage mechs, bulk sell me second line Battlemechs. Those seem to be able to get the job done.

Sure! We have warehouses FULL of them! The other Clans have no business sense at all refusing our wares.

I mean yeah, that's our strength. Who needs to fight a war when I can just buy all your politicians?

They are not, I'll upload them once I make a few changes and add the remaining major clans that I have yet to make.

Now if only we could find some people to make a full-on mod using the Battletech galaxy map, as well as model the various IS and Clan warships.

I'm looking into how to mod Stellaris, it would be cool if we could make an organized attempt at a real post invasion IS map.

I haven't been on my desktop for a while, unable to play games due to an injury I sustained. What's the maximum number of planets and/or systems a Stellaris map is capable of holding?

According to Sarna, the Inner Sphere is made up of 2000 colonized planets, while the entire area/volume of the Inner Sphere contains 2 million stars.

I think Stellaris handles its maps based on actual star systems doesn't it? Could Stellaris handle that?

I like the art work a lot, 10/10

But Legolas is a clanner, com'on ?

Finding some of the nations and leaders traits a bit off as well, but we all have our sepperate opinions.

There are Mods in play already to handle 2000 Star systems so size should not be an issue. Random Map placement may be one though if the actual 3025 Star League Map is what is wanted to be played.

I know there's a Stellaris map mod that allows for up to 2000 active solar systems. Though the games administrative and management systems would make trying to control 2000 colonized planets a programming nightmare, even if they were incorporated into sectors. With that in mind it'd probably be best to keep planets refined to only the lore relevant ones.

Actually mechs can be easily made in Stellaris. Basically you just replace standard army units, modify their stats, and rename them as mech lances/companies lights/assaults/mediums/heavies etc, etc depending on what you want to do. My only concern with using specific mech weight classes as opposed to just generic lances is Stellaris ground combat doesn't lend itself well to weight class distinctions outside of raw damage and health stats.

I wanted to make the clans visually distinct from IS factions and no other races really look "human" aside from the space elves.

Also some factions required a bit of lore compromise for variation and so they could attain the archetype that fit them. For example, I gave House Davion a pacifist trait not because they're pacifists, but because it's a prerequisite to making an Enlightened Monarchy government type.
