It's like a child screaming, 'I'm telling'....
If you are eleven and playing this game, perhaps I am being too hard. To the alleged grown ups doing this, well. GTFU. You want to report someone, go ahead. If the action is really egregious, your best bet is to take a quick screen if you are not recording and contact support with as much info as possible. For crying out loud however, have some dignity and mental fortitude not to scream out like a child announcing your own righteousness to the other 23 players in the process.

So you came on the forums to, well, whine like a child about it. I see what you did there

You have never, ever heard me call out my team for being stupid. I have been playing for ten months and make tons of mistakes. I have also suicided on polar and PGI warned me. Have not done it since. Never disconnect though. So not only are you an outright liar, instead of discussing what I have said you chose to attack me personally. What does that say about you????

But I personally have reported players based on things I have seen in the MWO gameplay that cannot be rationally explained but this is very rarely done by me or 99% of MWO players.
MWO's server problems are not unique to PC MMO gameplay some games have a lot of money to spend on programmers that can make the net-code work at peak efficiency no matter what the players latency is but they are not perfect ether.
Most of the players I have seen chatting about reporting another player in games more than likely is caused by server to client errors and PGI cannot get better working servers without money to support better programming or better server providers.
which leads to less reports by players of unexplained things they see in gameplay but there are always going to be Report abusers those that feel they must report people as a joke.

Hats off to you sir...I obviously did not think that through.
The situation that sparked was not me being reported. A guy on my team ran into the enemy guns blazing off the hop. Perhaps a suicide. Not a terribly good idea or strat, but I can't say definitively if it was a suicide or not. Thing is a guy on the enemy team started going off insisting we report him and that this must be stopped. It is never going to stop and only if someone did something repeatedly (like run out of bounds on polar which I was absolutely guilty of and was warned by PGI to stop).
Thing is that it wasn't even on the guys team. Oh and despite the one guy we stomped them and won. So yeah, everybody has a right to care about the game they play and fairness and all of that. Really though do we need to cry out when we report someone? Can't we have it be anonymous like Crime Stoppers????

That's cute. My nemeses all have at least a basic understanding of proper forum meme usage.
Okay, okay, I'm going to make a nemesis out of you, Restos. Every time I see you mentioning Clan Diamond Shark, I can't get the image of you riding around in a mad cat mk II, with this song playing.

Thank you for the brevity. As you may or may not know I am completely against the use of meme's and especially anything anime. Since you were key in the dreaded machine gun buff which resulted in me getting 7 kills and 1000 damage in a Viper, I am steadfastly gathering resources to have PGI nerf all meme's from the forum.

That is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever seen and now it will be in my head whenever I see Resto...

Nah, gotta go with this.
Or maybe go with the theme of our sports team.
Oh, and on rare occasions, this one.

No you are a liar. I also sat around and watched matches that did this in. Sort of morbid curiousity. While I have disconnected after dying quick, that is extremely rare for me to do. I almost always watch a match in its entirety. I have nothing to gain by admitting that I have suicided and been warned. I would post the email but I believe that is against the code of conduct. You are attributing other bad behaviours you don't like to me.
Clearly you have a problem with me. I am a loud, abrupt and often obnoxious person with a very dark sense of humour. I am used to rubbing at least one person wrong a day for the entire 41 years I have been on the planet. So I am ok with you not liking me. I certainly am not one who will try and win you over. What I am not, however is dishonest. Am completely unsure why you are adamently sticking to this disconnect nonsense. Can only assume that because I have rubbed you the wrong way, you feel lying is ok.
So personal attacks aside, do you feel it is appropriate to tell people you are reporting them?

There's a limit?
I understand fully if you are reporting someone for cheating. I have done that (only once) and found it best to go through support and provide as much evidence as possible. The result in my case was the player's account was terminated for cheating.
What I am talking about is behaviours that you find objectionable. I will report immediately anything racist. I just don't say anything about it.
