I was in the middle of a CW match a few hours ago when suddenly everyone DC'd. I figured there was a maintenance, so I went ahead to the website to check, but it was down as well? When everything was back up there wasn't anything mentioned about servers going offline?

Well, the site at least was down from around 11:30 PM to past 4 AM EST last night. Fell asleep before they got the site back up.

Yeah, there's a server outages problem. Half of a day I cannot play for event. I wish the event time is extended though.

I literally signed up just to stay up to speed about what's going on in this game... Otherwise, at least it's better than Instagram.

I did the same. Use it only for MWO (and following what's new around Edward Snowden).

But for the MWO part:
I try to put everything worthy inside the forum, thus you don't need to hang around twitter yourself to stay informed. The thread where I put the information is here:

OVH had a bad switch. (MWO's host.) They tried rebooting the switch and it was still dead, so someone at OVH had to physically replace it in the middle of the night.

Firstly I would like to apologize for the HPG blackout, entirely my fault... the 528th Division was in the middle of an exercise and some lowly Acolyte decided to load live rounds into my mech. Needless to say a power generator became a victim in all this... so ya...

Twitter can actually be addicting.

I can't believe how much time I waste on there.

Being a no TL;DR zone twitter might not be a good platform for discussing MWO or any topic in depth.

I don't follow or pay attention to anything to do with this game on there.

But for other things, it can actually be fun.
