Is Dual Gauss Assaults Fight!

They are all IS humanoid Assaults which mount Dual Gauss among other armaments with the Thunder Hawk even mounts three.
Once I read on a BT forum a funny comment which stated they are the pick when you want to play "TurretTech" (walking turrets with Gauss Rifles).

Devastator is close second though. It looks badass.

Pillager would probably be second because one has Stealth armor which made it a good counter turret.

Of the ones mentioned in the op, it would be the Gunslinger for me.

... which is in MWO is of dubious use at best, especially with the heavy GRs of the IS and the inability to charge three GR.
Dual Gauss plus sensible backup weaponry is much, much better.
Don't get me wrong; I would drive the Thunder Hawk for Nostalgia alone. It was Adam Steiner's ride after all.

True, there's Nightstar but I kinda forgot about it because I was thinking about these GRs strapped humanoid Assaults and how similar they are.

Well the Night Star isn't a humanoid mech which is probably what the OP was thinking. That being said, he forgot the Cerberus. Even just the standard hardpoint layouts for the 3 variants with current tech (MR-V2, MR-5M, and MR-V3) yield some very exciting options.

Shape is well rounded everywhere so if volumetric scaling appears again it doesn't become a titan
- Devastator - or model awesome barn Mk 2 it's a wide torso impossible to miss and it doesn't has the "dept" to hide volume - it must be bigger as the Atlas.
Thunderhawk might be interesting for everything but to carry 3 Gauss Rifles when you don't want to mount XL Death you sacrifice speed and you can't even trigger 3 gauss per volley.
Cerberus - has the advantage of a high engine cap has huge legs and arm but a small torso - could be interesting but to be st death save you won't run any secondary armament - or you can't use the only advantage - speed

The King Crab already does all the ballistics we want, but the Inner Sphere does not have a 75, 80 or 85 ton mech that has ballistics in separate compartments. That seriously needs to be remedied.

It's pretty hard to do ballistics in a King Crab, when everyone knows how succulent and delicious your claw meat is.
