Hoping for the Warhammer IIC. Really would enjoy having a 80 ton clan command mech focusing on brute firepower and battlefield sustainability!

Not coming this month. Next announcement is confirmed to be a light mech. When it will come... only Russ knows.

Mad Cat MK II, Kingfisher, and Bane. Those are my Clan assaults I'm rooting for. The Warhammer IIC is, well, just another IIC. Sure, I love the Warhammer, but I want some more mechs that aren't IIC's.

Next 'Mech announced whenever Russ gets around to a Town Hall for it is a light 'Mech, presumably Clan. After that, it's probable they'll go back to the alternating release cycle, with Clan and Sphere 'Mechs trading off. We got two Clan fatbros in a row* with the Supernova and Marauder IIC. The Whammer IIC also features a number of FutureTech variants, though unlike the Marauder it does have a few GarboTech models for Piranha to draw from. Still, overall? Odds on the Whammer IIC making it into the game any time soon are rather slim at this particular point.

That's right, they wanted to do a town hall this month. That makes sense now, when Russ tweeted that he was trying to decide when, he was probably trying to decide if he should wait for the town hall or just announce it. Its probably a matter of when they can get to the Town Hall... if its too late in the month they will probably just announce it, but if we see a town hall announcement soon, then we know he will announce it then.

It will most likely be released this year along with the Rifleman IIC. When? God only knows. I heard from a recent post that Russ might make double mech packs this year, so they might do a double IIC pack along with a double IS release in future updates. I would gladly pay $30 for the canonical releases for two mechs in one pack.

Just what we need. More overweight Clan 2.0 Battlemechs.

Let's get some originality up in here. And failing that, can we at least have the non-tonnage bloated Fiesta duplicate mechs?

Well I think it has demand behind that is good (mechs success in sales come down to two things, popular nostalgia & Performance. Rhe mech has both going for it.) However based off this poll I did.
https://mwomercs.com...mechs-for-2017/

There is equal if not more demand for light mechs currently by Clan customers.

IS. On the other hand can't make up its mind it's all over the place :P

Despite the fact that it's probably not going to be that great, I'm actually more for the Rifleman IIC than the Warhammer IIC. Just because I love that stupid radar dish.

Town Halls are traditionally as late in the month as Russ can get away with and still coincide with a Friday. I'd prefer for word on Skilltrees 1.0 to come out two-ish months before the speculated MechCon release date, rather than one month, but I suppose Town Hall is what we get.

Also can we stop calling them Town Halls? The 'Town' is not really even remotely involved anymore. They're pretty much just monthly-ish Russ interviews NGNG runs without any community involvement. It kinda bothers me that they're called 'Town Halls' when the Town gets neither a voice nor a choice.

The radar dish would probably make it real bad in MWO though, probably will initially count as CT for the entire thing that will stick up above your mech in one big easy "shoot here to kill robot" block.

They'll eventually partition it into all three torsos, but it will still be a part of your mech sticking up above your cockpit making it harder for you to judge if you're in effective cover or not.

Basically imagine the big gunpod hitboxes on the ebon, but for all three torsos and they don't even give you super high gun mounts, just make you way easier to kill.

I'm still in the camp wishing that certain extremities, like the Timber Wolf ears, were separate hit boxes with their own HP pools. And by god the Rifleman IIC would be a lot better in the game if it got that treatment. But I don't expect that system to get added, and I know the Rifleman IIC probably wouldn't be that great. But you'd look great while you're still alive!
