Many of our units have been ravaged.

Not gonna lie... between the battles last night and earlier today, I'm feeling pretty demoralized to the point that I figured I would just muck about in QP for the remainder of my contract...


...but maybe things will turn around throughout the week, so I'll stick with it...

To "resist" you need to consistenly win. I, and it would seem most other IS players, are not consistently winning. Therefore, we cannot resist the clans under the current mechanisms of the game. Resistance is indeed futile. The only way to resist is to allow only those teams that consistently win to play. That way people of my middling skill don't cost the better players their progress. That is the only way to have a successful resistance under the current mechanisms of the game.

So resist the clans if you and yours have a CW w/l rate greater than 1. The rest of us will be resisting with a nice cold drink and some rousing QP matches...it really is the best way to fight those evil clanners

Might want to look up the definition of resistance, and ask members of the French Underground during WWII (Amongst others) if they agree. Resisting actually has nothing to do with winning. It's merely fighting back and refusing to give up.

The french underground's resistance was not based on dots in a game. But that is how this game mode defines winning and losing: who has the dots. If every time I lose...and I lose a lot... my loss costs a team who won their progress toward capturing that dot, it is better for my "side" in this "resistance" to not play. That way those teams that do win, actually make progress. It's just a fact of the game. I used to love CW but my poor performance at "resisting"...and that of the majority of those playing on the IS side who are likewise performing poorly...are the reason that the better teams are unable to make any progress.

Look at the map. Look at the number of phases the IS had won since 4.1 dropped. We may be resisting, but as long as we fail to make any progress...because of players like me...the resistance is indeed futile.
