[Fruits Punch Samurai]

I did love this series and I think its too bad that Nickelodeon chose Sponge Bob instead.

I think, it might have turned out differently if the show had been hosted on Comedy Central for example instead of Nickelodeon...
The point here being that there's quite a lot of obnoxious, grimdark humor in the show, which kinda forced nickelodeon to broadcast it only in the middle of the night (at least over here). It's just that I don't think most of the agegroup that usually watches Nickelodeon-cartoons would have gotten any of it, or find it funny. maybe I'm underestimating them/ overestimating the show though...

What I really liked about the show was that most of it can be seen as satire on our modern society! Look closely, and you'll find that the show is full of it... ^^

BTW, does anyone have a favorite character aside of GIR? ^^
I really liked Gaz and Tak, but there's nothing to compete with GIR!

Nothing can compete with GIR, but a close second is Zim followed by the Almighty Tallest Purple.

Invader Zim was one of those shows that was amazingly brillant, insanely fun, and canned before it's time...

I think thats why people like it so much, it was unfinished and cancelled before it went stupi d, like Spongebob and the fairly odd parents. it ended before its time, with more to promise.
