I am a 1 shot in my Hetzer for any KV with a big cannon...

Oh don't even bring up the KV derp gun...

That thing is absurd (it one shots my Sherman no matter where it hits)

yeah the real fun is hte matchmaker, they have 3 kv;s and a t1 and your best is a wolverine and 2 mkiv's real balanced.not to mention the kamikaze rush that always seems to happen even before i get into the game, half my team is gone case they either ran across the map helter skelter or the enemy lights screamed across and just shot what wasn't moving.or both at once. there was one game i got in quick like 5 seconds and in that time we were 10 to 2 dead(us>them) and the rest were just arty and light ats we died in the nxt minute ,fastest game i ever played

I've been playing it since Closed Beta and honestly, been loving it since. I've had my moments where I truly disliked the game, and found it completely unfair. The new armor system has actually changed the game up a great deal. It still heavily depends on teamwork, but an individual player now can change the course of the battle through actual skill, and some luck.

What got me to stick through the game is Clan Wars. Being part of a community, plus being able to take part in "Wars" are quite interesting. Theres an actual feeling that your fighting side by side with your Clan/Community, and holding onto actual 'land.' Makes it feel like your community actually 'owns' something, and your time and dedication is awarded.

Plus too, I make Youtube videos for World of Tanks. :)

I've got a Hetzer too, I'm really trying to get the next a Stug III at the moment, but I'm finding the 75mm cannon on the Hetzer pretty poor, I take it you're using the 105mm, how does that compare? (don't want to get stuck with another short barrelled high calibre gun with no AP capacity)... Speaking of which I wonder if there'll be different ammo types for balistic weapons in MWO?

AC/20 with AP for reactive armour/FF and HE for reflective?

No offense to the clan I ran with for a bit in CW (they were good peeps) but this got old as well:

(Yes that one tank on the left was me in a Persh):

1. CW should not be just end tier tanks, if they made some tier 1-4 areas with less gold per week, that's be great, the low tier battles are the most fun, seeing a bunch of .50 cals trying to kill each other when they can barely shoot straight is hilarious.

2. The top CW clans pull in about 2K-3K gold/week per player, the bottom clans can't survive because they can't afford to run against them, so you created a non sustaining model where the top players reap benefits that help not only in CW (since the gold can be used in any area of the game) but in pub, and then you've got top tier tanks in camo, shooting gold rounds at your IS-3.

3. How long does it take to make a french tank? Are they made out of unicorns and lightning or something? Maybe if they made them all premium we'd see them alot faster (they certainly cranked out the Chinese T-59 in a hurry) Holy Cheebus....

In 5 years people will use this game as a punchline for the 'Cash Grab Era' of online games...

"Boy, they sure WoTed the **** out of that game!"

QFT

This game has some elements that make it fun, but after all this time, they've neglected to do so many basic things to fix so many basic problems, or add so many obvious, basic features, that I find it really hard to recommend this game.

It is just a cash grab, and for just the money spend on single tanks in this game, there are entire better games you can buy, instead

In fact, even my only semi-serious friend, Simon, has spent something like $200 in the past three months. That's enough for a copy of BF3, MW3, a copy of Crysis Warhead for MWLL, and 2-4 other games.

The fact that KVs with the "bobblehead" turret have OMGWTFARMOR that's impenetrable to most guns doesn't help matters.

I'm riding out my last premium acct purchase and putting it down forever
and if World of Battleships and Warplanes are any similiar; I will never pick
them up. Wargaming.net is officially blacklisted in my book of game companies
...like Nixon's enemy list :D
