Unfortunately, I have seen several "top players" on the forums posting about how they use fresh alt accounts for Tournaments. Their excuse is that they are so famous and popular that they would get singled out in matches and have no chance to win. So they ay in Tier 5 matches "to make everything fair.". Yes, thier words.

You do realise that after 5 matches, if you've had 800dmg / 5kills+ a game (Which in T5 is easy), you're already in the upper section of T3.

You have to essentially "potato" at least 50+ matches before the MM/Tier system doesn't auto "bump" you half a Tier every match.
