well i'm a BT lore virgin so i have no clue what i'd want aside from Urbie, Krab and King Krab hero's.

So download some TRO PDFs (plenty to be found on the web), grab some popcorn, and pop that cherry!

The time has come for the Mad Cat MKII for Clan and the Uziel for IS.

Pre-3060 I still want the Firemoth.

Axman
Crusader
Dervish
Javelin
stinger/wasp

Honestly the tech change is nice but the further we get from 3025 the less I recognize any of the mechs.

The Fireball. Gimme, gimme, gimme.

Or, if we insist on something new and shiny, any one of the Celestial series of IS omnis.

I will laugh my balls off if the IS Light mech this month is a 20 tonner, considering the light 'we' really need is a 20 ton Clan mech. That's just rubbing it in.

EMP-6A Emperor

Or if advanced enough...

Men Shen

Or if advanced enough...

Uh... (Thinks about all the mechs past 3060).... Uh....

Screw you guys, I want my Xin Sheng Collection!

Thunderbolt IIC - No wait that is 3085
Jupiter - No that is 3068. Curse you 3067 cut off!
Hmm...
Fafnir, Hauptmann, and Blood Asp.
Nova Cat, Uziel, and a bunch of other mechs that we wouldn't even need new weapons and time line for.

well, sorry, I avoid having to visit free clinics by selective screenings. I guess that's the advantage of being a rich Steiner... no second rate back alley jobs here...only pure Canopian Pleasure Circuses....

That's still pretty bad. The 75-ton Timber Wolf has the same speed and agility as your 35-ton light. With more than double the armor and firepower to boot.

The one thing the Cougar does well is looking sexy. Really sexy. Beyond eye candy, the Cougar is really really horrible.

You barely gain any pod space compared to the faster and more agile (but still relatively slow) Adder. It's like only one ton or so, and you have fewer TruDubs so your cooling ability (and therefore damage output) is decreased anyways.

I know, I was just correcting him. It's not quite that slow.

Personally, I'm not for it, partially for the reasons you gave, and partially because, visually and fluff wise, it's just a circumcised Addar. Boring.

But I don't play Clan mechs, so... you all can decide among yourselves if you like it or not.

FTFY, at least for the context of this game and not the weird rounding stuff TT has to do.

Now this is a tough question, keeping in mind the limitations of MWO, as much as I would love LAM's I know they are out... For IS, I'd have to say the Templar.

All variants offer something fun and interesting, that's Prime through I, that with a possible tech upgrade to 3060-ish kit (depending on where the cut off is, please let it be 3067) are all 10 different kinds of mean.
