As much as i want to buy another Hunchback IIC, I am turning towards more Inner Sphere mechs recently. I have always been more of a clan type pilot but i have had alot of fun with Piloting IS mechs. I like piloting some of the more under dog mechs. Right now i am trying to decide on which of these mechs to buy right now. I will only choose one. And there are three right now that i am looking at.

1. The Shadow Hawk

2. The Enforcer

3. The Wolverine

As for which variant i am open to all.

Looking for some pilot experience on these. Share some of your input on either of these mechs if you have had some fun with them. As i am looking too as well.

Wolverine is hilariously bad. Awful scaling, bad hardpoint mixes, terrible hitboxes, and most of the quirks that made it halfway playable disappeared-- wolverines need serious help but until then I will say that the enforcer and shadow hawk are far more reliable choices.

The Bushwhacker that is about to come out is looking like a rock solid Inner Sphere 55 ton mech, and possibly semi-safe to use an XL engine on due to arm placement and the very narrow frontal profile that will have incoming hits striking the CT. If you have 20 bucks and don't care, it looks like an okay choice.

In reference to pilot experience, on a different account I've racked up plenty of hours in a Wolverine and it was honestly a really good mech back when the quirks for pulse lasers were absurd. Currently? I think I'd consider trying that mech out again once Light Fusion Engines hit, but not before then.

The Shadow Hawk was clearly superior to it.

What are your preferences?

Shadowhawk is no longer a meta ride, and it's not quite as agile as the Wolverine, but I like the variety of Hardpoints available. It also can twist damage relatively well. I still like to run my 2D2 quite a bit, though I liked it better before Streaks sucked.

The Enforcer is solid. Unfortunately, all it's "best" builds little resemble the Enforcer of lore, which makes me sad.

Wolverine... is hideous, but I still somehow manage to do decent in the 6R... despite imine being as un-meta as possible. LB10X, MPL and Streaks on mine, lol. Still hits 500ish dmg with surprising regularity.

If I had to pick one, though? It'd be the SHD-2D2.

(I might have leaned toward the ENF, but.... the laziness of the in game model, with it's massive forehead and gunbox arms..... just... Sad Panda.)
Current Build (but considering going back to the UAC)
SHD-2D2

OK so you like piloting under dog mechs. Well I have to say the Enforcer being 50 tons compared to the 55 ton Shadowhawk and 55 ton Wolverine is more of an under dog than the other two.

Outside of that all three have there fun points about them. Personally my favorite out of the 3 is the Enforcer.

Of the three? Shadow Hawk. It has great hitboxes and can be a mean brawler, or skirmisher.
