Can you deny that it might be unfun for you simply because you get out-matched/out-skilled in the no matchmaker system that is FW? Since 4.1 released, the QP modes in FW have added a whole new flavour to the game, with mostly positive reviews.
Why yes I can. If fact, when I do play and I'm on the stomping side, I no longer join in the camping. Not fun. No, the broken respawn mode is not fun because it's not fun. There is no quantification to add to subjective likes and dislikes save this:
90% avoid it. Hence low populations, hence tears. Even now during NA prime time only about 180 players are on the respawn wagon based on games per hour. Better than FW 3 disaster, but hardly success and certainly not commercial success. It's all well and good that some people like it. I like Scout. But Scout has an even lower population (and no matchmaker, BTW).
Get used to it. You're the five percent snowflakes. I'm even worse. Scout, what?, two percent? This should be a concern to any one with an ounce of business acumen. Really, how long will PGI burn resources on 5%? In the long run, FW withers with out 90%. This means catering to the 90, not the 5. It means fixing broken game mechanics. And, yes, it means a matchmaker in some queue, some part, some place in FW.
Or it can hobble along with the usual cycles of drought and
deluge drizzle.
