Ok folks, what are your top 5 mechs that need love??

Cicada 3C, Needs ballistics buffs, and i would not be against a second energy hard point on the left torso.

Commando 3A+ 1D, (both are in desperate need of an ammo boost, Maybe skill tree can finally add this as an option for certain mechs, for balance reasons make it unlockable only on certain mechs)

2D adding an energy hard point to the left arm for 2 total, (or move the 2 missile hard point from the arm to torso, and add the second one on the right arm) I say move the missile hard points because the arms get blown off kinda easy, and packing of your firepower in them is just not that great in today's world were every mech is packing tons of armor and you need to take down 12)

(edit, had wrong variant, my bad)

Wolverine Quarantine, I know it might be unconventional, but add energy to the CT! This mech is built for Zombie! all right side weapons+ CT would make it a prime STD zombie.

Victor, Boost armor on the ST's a bit, victor still needs love Posted Image

Believe it or not, but the WVR-7D is fine. I have put XL 300, LB-10X and 2xSRM-6 with MASC on it and it performs decently. Another build is XL 325 with a UAC5, 2xSRM-4 and MASC, and a medium laser. Both builds only have 1 jumpjet, but it is used mostly for turning quickly.

Out of the Commandoes, the 1B needs help due to the location of the hardpoints being primarily in the arms.

The Victors are already buffed, but are still mediocre. Doesn't need any more health buffs.

Dragon could use extra hardpoints. Victor could use revamped missile tubes, and maybe one additional hardpoint as well. Vindicator could use one, possibly two more hardpoints, also. Spiders are across the board under gunned. I also rarely see trebs, so maybe they could use one more hardpoint, too.

Note the five are all IS chassis. I'm a Clan pilot, but I am holding off on making suggestions for Clan mechs until the next hero pack comes out, as well as the tech jump. Maybe the SHC hero will fix its issues, and the release of several later generation Mist Lynx solve hardpoint issues completely.

Firestarters without a doubt.
They're 2/3rds the height of a hunchback.
Have the bare bare minimal of quirks that don't really help.

Night gyr.
Give it some CT structure, just a little bit because it suffers from Dragon CT.

Shadow Hawk.
It used to be the go to medium brawler but now is overshadowed by others.

King Crab.
It's slow, huge and all of it's hardpoints are very low mounted.

Phoenix Hawk.
Most of it's weapons are in it's arms which are lost super easy.

Jenner IIC need agility so it can actually turn like a light, and not a cargo truck.

That's all I have for now.

The entire light line. In general.

Oh, and all mechs with missile pods should get some serious durability boosts when they're in use. For instance, if I have LRM 20's on my Timber Wolf, I shouldn't be a walking deathtrap.

Nonsense, all BALLISTIC hard points are low.. energy and missile are all above the cockpit.
If you forget about the ballisitcs just for ONE fricking second the King Crab has one of the best hardpoints in the game.
However this DOES NOT mean its a good mech overall.

Ice Ferrets!

More acceleration, deceleration, and turning radius buffs I think. Sportier handling, for sure.

The Dragon absolutely needs more hardpoints, specifically energy. The right arm also needs to be brought in and raised more, it would make more sense to the original anyway.

Vindicators need additional missile hardpoints to justify their existence. I would love a ERPPC/SRM build.

As for the Mist Lynx, unfix the AP. It's a waste of tonnage.

They are still really powerful in the right hands. I've been wrecked by energy boat Awesomes more times in the last few months than my 4 years of MWO.

Dragons, Commandos, Vindicators, Panthers, and Spiders.

I think they are all obsoleted by other, better Mech choices.

Chassis by chassis seems like a lot of work. Just ask for 4+ missile or 4+ energy hardpoints added to everything so they can be run as 1-2 button alpha builds like every "viable" IS mech.

Be happy that most chassis can have their lore builds completely annihilated in favor of lpl + ml spam and leave the outliers for nostalgia players and/or trolls.

Firestarter needs heath buffs or shrinkage...or both??? Many lights that were sized up need to be reviewed. Fast mediums are in a much better place as a whole. When I am feeling like something fast I pull out my PHX and roll. I do play some.lights but it is so funny to compare them to other weight classes.

I is of main assault player.

KGC <- needs of structure-

HGN <- needs hardpoints and better jumpjets

HGN IIC <- hardpoints and better jumpjets

Victor <- stronger quirks...

Zeus <- more hard points on some variants, quirks for mobility.
