So what we're seeing here, is proof that what Russ claimed about can't just change a few numbers and make jump jets work in a week was inaccurate ?

this vector thrusting, would make jumpjets so much more than the hoverjets they are. but by then if we had anywhere even close to half this vector thrusting we'd need jumpjets to cause heat. I played armored core games so this kind of thrusting would be amazing to me in mwo.

This isn't vector thrust. It's literally just Paul cranking up jump jet forward kick to OVER 9000 and making people cry.

"fwd_boost" to be precise


But that's not to say they couldn't add "left_boost" "right_boost" and "rear_boost" to different keys, and get a ghetto directional thrust


It's just the animations which would suffer

I'm not really seeing anything to bad, the highlander even landed with bent legs, which is the correct way to absorb kinetic energy from a landing

One leg lifts up higher than the other...?

I'm not too sure how that would be animated...
