A thread you made last year was already used by a salty fellow that might have been trolling last night as proof that the Cheetah was OP. Your threads are actually causing more harm than good.

Yeah we really need to reduce the hardpoints on the Arctic Cheetah. 8 Ballistics are a little bit too much and I think we should reduce it to 6 Ballistics to make it on par with the Spider. Also since cMGs weighs half as much as isMGs, we should really introduce ROF and Range quirks for the Spider to better match the Cheetah.

no - of course your not... your humour is a little dry for many forumites to pick... and at times seems close to some of PGI actual balance ideas/changes !

Clan ERML does 7 damage. Assuming 4 ERML (semi-practical amount), this gives 28 damage per salvo. If the player wants to yolo, they might be insane enough to try 6 ERML for 42 damage...but that thing will cook itself.

We really need to nerf the Arctic Cheetah. I was piloting mine in a few matches last night and easily 1v2'd a Dire Wolf AND an Atlas! Skill obviously wasn't a factor, so it MUST be the mech!

They really need to nerf the commandos. I mean that poor ach has no chance of winning at all in a 1 vs 1 against it. Commanos are so op. I won't even start on how super mega ultra hyper the spider 5 v is. That spider 5V makes me want to wear my brown pants when I play the game.

Boating? You can hardly run 4 (which is a 28pt alpha @ 1.22 heat) due to lack of heatsinks. If someone was boating they were taking 30 seconds to cool off after shots.

ACH is fine. It is either absolute crap (when you are not using SmL or SmPL) or they are situational requiring you to get into the thick of things to be effective. I have had no problems legging cheetahs who close range and have done exceedingly well in them against pilots who don't have a clue how to pilot their mechs.

Just like with the Huginn, its another case of "I'm too stupid to pilot my assault so nerf that light mech"
