before starting id like to note, any misles on the side torso make it stick up extra high.
so after some experimenting here are so of the decent builds i have been testing!

S2- ac10, 4srm, 1 ml. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...50f515b8adba2dd

another variation: ac10, 3srm6, 2sml: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...50f515b8adba2dd

I've been running a slightly upgraded stock X1 as a bit of a personal challenge. It's been working surprisingly well: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3ca959150dc7a97 The firepower on smurfy is lower than it is in game for some reason, but it's the same weapons load.

S2- XL300, SRM4+A, Dual Med Pulse. Deadside the other arm. It is a super fun striking build.

This is what I've been doing with the HIGH ROLLER lately. Maybe not the most optimal build path, but I do like the weapon configuration (was messing around to see what I could do without swapping off Ferro for Endo, it works with either or :D )

Omg, that right arm is just hideous, I'm just going to focus on lefty, and use those torso points for the guns.

Seriously, it's like an 8 year old got an unlimited number of legos to keep sticking guns on!

What, you never played with legos as a kid? :P That 'brickyness' has a certain charm to it I think. (Though I do hardly use the arms, the missile arm is...awkward to use, but it's not kintaro bad, it's just inconvenient.)

This is what i have been running on the X1 and i have to say it is pretty good. Dual 10's might be one of the best builds for it with the stock engine at least.

Umm what i think he means is if you wanna do a left sided build to move the gauss rifle to the other torso so you can shield with the right side.

Well I finally won a match with each of my Bushwackers... I took around two and a half hours... I had three standout games (one with over 8.5k xp and nearly a half a mil in c-bills) in three different variants.

I'll stat them up in smurfy tomorrow morning, but the 6xSRM4 with backup lasers did pretty well (though I kept firing them much to close together and getting the heat spike from it), 2xLPL+2xMPL+2xMG did surprisingly well, and a dual UAC5+dual MPL build did pretty well. I tried triple AC5, but the reduced engine hurts. Even with the stock 275 I feel slow, but they already feel lacking in firepower in many cases so I'm hard pressed to up the engine.

BSW-X2: Pretty much will never overheat, all weapons in the torsos, use that giant oversized right arm to shield.
BSW-X1: Not super impressed with this even though it's a scaled down Banshee design. The third AC5 can be moved to the arm if desired (for vertical firing ability) and it's pretty much impossible to overheat. Another option here is to replace 1 AC with a UAC, though this creates the problem of having two types of ammo.
High Roller: Shield with the right arm again. This was a very fun ride.
BSW-P2: This was my best game mech (possibly proving laser vomit just is better). Dual LPLs and MPLs with machine gun cake for when the armor comes off. The big guns are in the arm so you can fire around buildings and strike at UAVs.
BSW-P1: The brawler of the pack, you absolutely must remember not to fire all six SRM packs at once. However I beat a cyclops in a brawl with it (before a locust got me while my allies ran off). I'd love to make this faster, but I don't think it's happening. You can also convert it to LRMs if you want like this: BSW-P1.
BSW-S2: This is what I ended up with on the S2. It's a decent brawler. I'll probably pull the BAP and drop in an XL300 engine.

All the 275 XLs will be converted to 280s (same weight) when I have the free c-bills for it.

Anyone got builds for the X2? I'm at a loss for what to do with it.

I did it with max engine, never thought of trying it with a standard...

God damn is this build fun if you can get in people's faces with it. Summary: Splatwacker.

Totally agree! And it's actually quite tanky for an XL.. Same build I've been using and if you time your aggression right you can really wreak face.
Been averaging over 400 damage on this build which for a below average pilot like me using a horrendous potato PC is good going!

All in all I'm satisfied with my Bushwacker. A decent mech with the right amount of firepower x mobility. Here's what I came up with so far:

X1: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e742ac5d830c8b7

A possible variation is dropping to SRM4's, one ton of ammo and upgrading the engine.

X2: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ee9fb704be68e8f
Variation: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...701eeca28873735

S2: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...1b97bb6b39bd738

Because I also wanted a faster going BSW. Works out decently.

Still testing with the High Roller.
