I mentioned a long while back that I would like there to be a c-bill and XP reward given for every second a mech stays in the green domination circle. I think I said you should get 100 c-bills every second you are inside. In a 15 minute QP match, even if you magically get to the circle in 30 seconds and stay there for the entire game you are only going to get 87 000 c-bills, and that is only going to happen 1 game in 100.

I'm now thinking I'd like to update that idea. I think there should be a billion c-bills every second instead of 100. Or maybe not a billion, but something in the ballpark of 1000 c-bills a second. BUT... the number gets divided by the number of mechs from your team that are in the circle. So if you are standing alone in the circle, you are getting an outrageous 1000 c-bills every second. If a buddy joins you, you are each getting 500/s, 3 mechs gets 333/s, etc etc etc. This means everyone in the circle gets rewarded, and the fewer of you there are, the more danger pay you make.

Why I think this is fair: because you are 1) putting yourself in far more danger then your teammates since the circle often provides poor cover, and 2) you are losing c-bills because you often cannot engage the enemy as effectively when you are in the circle because you are getting focus fired and take a massive amount of damage the moment you step out from cover. The teammates who are not in the circle will not get these c-bills but will be able to flank the enemy and engage in more effective ways. My personal experience is not gospel truth but I find my scores and rewards are far lower when I try to hold the circle then why I am one of the mechs supporting/flanking outside.

To be fair to those outside the circle (because honestly, depending on the build you may actually be of more help to your team outside the circle regardless of what people are screaming at you while they die in the green death zone), I'd like to see rewards if you stop the clock by shooting a mech in the circle. You're not in the circle dealing with all the crap that comes with that position, but you are stopping the enemy from winning in a more direct way then somebody who runs off and farms the dc's or focus fires on the single flanking ice ferret because they don't want to expose themselves to the enemy controlling the clock.

Oh, and last, I'd like to see the idiotic ********* ******* *** ******** who run around shooting the enemy resource trucks at the beginning of the game (before the enemy have even moved the clock) dealt with in some fair method that honors the principles of proportional response. Like instant, permanent self-destruct that permanently removes the mech and all its equipment and modules from the player's mech bay, followed by the automatic and irreversible application of a "Shoot Me Cuz I'm an Idiot" decal on all their mechs that acts as an enemy narc for 1 week. Cuz ya know, it kinda annoys me.

You know there are other ways to make money in Dominatrix mode right?

Like shooting mechs? Staying with your Lance, Shooting UAV's, Tag'n stuff, NARC'n stuff....

1 billion Cbills per match is insane and Paulconomy wil never allow that to happen. I mean you can come up with ideas all you want im not here to stop that but just some you know, PGI thinks making Cbills is too easy already....

Ummm... how do I reply to this without making you feel stupid? The truth is I can't. Your reply is simply the dumbest thing I've ever read. I said 1 billion c-bills in the title just to be silly. If you read the post you'd know that 1 billion c-bills for a domination match isn't what i'm proposing. You'd also know that I mention several ways of getting c-bills, so I clearly know about the other ways of making c-bills you mention.

Read posts before you respond to them. Stop wasting people's time. If you are lonely go phone a friend. Don't troll people by trying to ruin threads with idiotic responses to ideas that you didn't even bother reading.

You should stop wasting people's time by naming the topic title accurately instead of trolling people with clickbait-like titles.
Make an accurate title. Say clearly what you mean.

Regarding your proposals, C-Bill rewards are already too much as it is since we don't have to bother with repairing and reloading.

An increased XP reward however, would be a natural fit for encouraging gameplay that fits with what the goal of the gamemode is designed for.

Don't be a ****.

I do like the idea of split danger pay (although coding it might be a pain) but there's no need to jump straight to calling names and layering on hyperbole.

I still think credits for damage should be lowered, but secondary objectives in matches should be added and have boosted C-Bill rewards. But I also want Loyalists to have specific missions during FW matches, and there to be "immersion" to the game, so I'm crazy.

Really? I make a joke on the title. If that is "click bait" as another poster suggested I apologize. I can see the point. I just thought it was funny but clearly it didn't come across that way. But it is clear from the Revis' post that he replied without reading anything I wrote. There is no way anyone could read the post and think I was suggesting we actually get 1 Billion c-bills for anything. If you feel that I was rude fair enough because I admit I was. I reacted poorly and would undo it if I could. Revis, if you are reading this I am sorry.

However, I will wait for an apology from Revis, since I feel responding to posts you didn't read is extremely rude. People take the time to type up an idea, try to make it funny, try to get an intelligent discussion going. When I read forum posts that don't interest me I simply move on. When I find something that is interesting I take the time to read what the OP writes and what everybody writes back. I respect the effort made by everybody involved. Is it really too much to ask that people who respond actually read the post?

The title was not actually intended as click bait. I thought it was so preposterous and silly people would just laugh and dismiss that part of the title and know that it was just a thread suggesting new domination rewards. I overestimated my own funniness and cleverness (not the first time, nor will it be the last).

I like the idea of an XP reward but steered clear of it because I find most players respond more to the c-bills then XP, especially once their mech is levelled. Maybe after the new skill tree arrives that will change.

I would like to see an enormous increase for escort because even that wouldn't be enough to make it worth while and then perhaps PGI could admit defeat and rip the nonsense from the game.

Meanwhile, I like escort. I just think it should be a convoy that tells you where it's going, at least on a waypoint-to-waypoint level, and should have full map support.

C-Bills as a reward in a free to play game should be reduced in Quick Play as much as possible, with the rewarding factor being XP.

C-Bills should be a reward for FW, not QP.

How come? My first thought was the opposite (need c-bills for new players to buy lots of mechs, new players mostly in QP, etc). but I really haven't given that issue much thought. What is my tired mush-brain not seeing?

EEEEEEEH. I hate FW, because I despise the invasion game modes/maps, and really, really hate the drop deck system. Ruining C-Bill rewards across the board for QP would make me stop playing completely.

I stated that because if you can only earn good C-Bills in FW, more people will play it.

Make the winning rewards for QP = the losing rewards for FW and people who want C-Bills will play FW.
Make winning FW actually worth something, like along the lines of earning enough C-Bills from two successful Invasions earning you 13 million C-Bills.
More meat for the meatgrinder. :P

PGI has been far too nice to us with QP C-Bill rewards. Far too generous.

Say that to a new player without a proper stable of mechs. I really don't want the early-game grind to be even worse.

I mean, I still feel like the Paulconomy is still in full effect.

Yeah well it is barely voted for despite being shiny and new. Lurmers in the afternoon seem to like it though. Luckily in prime time it basically doesn't exist for me.
