hush Juodas. Great idea Tristan, I accept.

Now let's build a wall.

Crap, I need to go my thread and pick some winners. Nice contest CK, will try to make something halfway quality for it.

lmao

Must be the CGB logo that threw me off.

I have edited my post accordingly. There will be 2 of you now, like Spartan kings.

not at all. firstly, it was meant somewaht humorously, but, I simply acknowledge jjm1 as the best artist still regularly posting on these forums. Only person in his league, IMO, is Alex himself, and Spooky777, who rarely is seen in these parts anymore. And note...both of them actually do official work for CGL's Battletech line.

I consider my self a decent line artist, but simple fact is, it's a massive jump between my TRO style line art, and jjm1's colored computer generated paintings.

I still intend to submit a piece, if the creativity gods are with me.

Today for instance, I was not capable of getting my stick figures to cooperate, so maybe tomorrow the spirit will be with me. I have cranked out 3 out of 4 commission pieces for CK16 already in the last week, so I could just need a recharge.

Bishop, I highly recommend you do a Locust. For inspiration, please see this video. You can see that the Locust was in fact the very first metamech time machine. It's practically the prototype for the TARDIS, with its magically large interior to fit the pilot, and it is responsible for making first contact with a multitude of different species.

----

Guile, I was only able to like your picture once, but if I could, there would be a hundred more likes to follow.

Have two mechs on my sight, only bad part not enough official art to draw from, making it a better challenge to take.

Locust IIC? Still a Locust. And actually even better looking. I think IIC 4 is civil war era.

The chassis is still pre 3060. Variants don't really count, to the best of my understanding.

If I don't see a single Mad Cat MK 2 in here, I'm going to be very, very, VERY, VERY sad.

I'd consider it...but since that is already one of the commission pieces he's ordered.... it'd be a bit of double dipping.

But hey, maybe when all 4 are done, he'll display them here.

Maybe I just got lucky that one time. Or maybe I'll get hit by lightning tomorrow. Or maybe I'll just get bored of it like what happens way too often.

One things for sure, the mech I've decided to do is a weird looking goblin thing, maybe everyone will just plain hate it. :P
