Thanks for the contest, and thanks for participating all! Happy Gaming!

Edit: Introduced in 3061, just in case folks question whether it's within contest parameters.

Curious out of the two pieces which one y'all like more?

Also, being "finished" makes me tend to see their deficiencies a lot more since that's how commissioned works by pro artists are usually displayed.

well, that's a conundrum for me when taking commissions....

Oops, sorry I honestly didn't mean to offend you by implying that you are a bad artist!
It's just I know that you draw these robots in your spare time so they don't really reflect your true talent/dedication. They look better when they show that fact (not comissioned works but more like sketches).

This one is definitely more awesome. Something about an Osiris just crushing something just tickles me. It might just be because the Osiris is meant to be the IS Viper/Dragonfly.

I like the second one more. More dynamic and exciting. But if you just want to show off a concept design for a mech the first one is also the sensible choice for that. So yes its a conundrum.

Double dipping I see... tsktsk lol
I honestly prefer the first one. This one does have a lot more energy in it, but that Chimera is not an easy design to draw.

But somebody said they would be ...upset .... with no Mad Cat mkII..... and it happens that CK16 commissioned me to do one, so, again, camera phone photo......
and a mostly finished Uziel to continue the theme
Still a WIP... my last micron pen gave up it's nub yesterday, so, this one has to wait a bit to finish

I think the missile pods are a bit too small though.

that was the intent. They were way too damn big before. And you aren't going to want mickey mouse ears when it comes to MWO. (note the MWO lasers and Gauss barrels). C-LRM10s are only 2.5 tons.

I knew that you are going to say that. Still, aesthetically they are a bit too small for my taste.
Maybe you are right that the boxes' size should reflect the LRMs' size.

Honestly, if someone had told me they were going to make it with smaller launchers, I would have thought it was going to be worse than the art I've seen. But nope. It actually looks better with smaller launchers. God I need this mech in my life. I'll finally pilot an assault mech regularly.

Smaller LRM pods look better IMO. I cant find any logical reason for the extra large launchers when other mechs get away with tiny little LRM-20 racks.

Thanks, and I agree. And tbh, both logically and aesthetically I didn't like the bigger racks... and as much as I like Matt Plog's work, (nice guy, too) I hate how Gundam exaggerated the guns and missiles were in the 3067 TRO. So I just tried to channel the MW4 original with modified proportions and MWO style weapons.
I'm actually happier with my Osiris though, for some reason. Just feels like a good action scene from a Sourcebook, or Comic.

Was the intent. Sadly I bet when we get the Uziel, it's going to have skinny whip barrels like the BJ. But you better believe I'll be blowing up Russ's Twitter feed until it's changed
