I help University students launch satellites on rockets, helping to give those students real hands on experience developing and operating spacecraft, but I don't expect anyone on these forums to be impressed with that.

I find this impressive, tell me more about it.

No, with the orange I'm talking about the white on the inside. Can never get that stuff down.

I do understand the issue with the textures of certain foods... but dear god, potato skins are one of life's great pleasures... along with buffalo wings, and all sorts of other really bad for you tailgate snacks....

I don't eat meat, so probably my closest thing for me to that is breaded cheese. Now THAT is some true junk food I can stand behind.

people who find mashed potatos gross need to find a better cook.

though i dont do potato salad. i mean you have one of the most versatile tubers on the planet, and what do you do, cut it in to cubes and pour every condiment in the fridge over it? really? nobody wants to eat that. people who use an entire jar of mayo on one side dish disturb me.

I agree with you on American Potato Salad. Or as it should be called.. Mustard and Mayo Vomit.

On the other hand..have you ever tried German Potato Salad? AMAZING.

served hot, with bacon, vinegar, dill, cracked pepper, sometimes a tiny bit of stone ground mustard for flavor, not glops of that disgusting French's stuff Americans so love......

Cheese Curds, Itallian Cheese Pie or Cheese Sticks? (All of the above is an acceptable answer, too)

And don't forget the Jalapeno Poppers!

My favorite was frozen garbage that was just breaded queso cheese. But the company that sold it had to recall the entire thing and stop making it because some of the cheese was apparently infected with E. Coli. God I miss that stuff.

How to say...Cool Story?

And not my fault I'm obviously the last good Centurion pilot. Mebbe folks need to learn to gitgud?

I don't care about your cool story either.

Quote

Also...in seriousness, there is a pretty large difference between questioning if something is as bad as people claim, and attempting to force a playstyle, build, etc. I'd love to see somewhere where I told people that they were bad if they didn't use a Centurion. Have I questioned the efficacy of some promoted builds? Yes. But ONLY because they have been pushed down people's throats as the ONLY VIABLE OPTIONS... But I guess you have trouble seeing the difference in that.

I usually leave it to time to evaluate long term effects of a change (usually a month), but sometimes some things become self-evident that it shouldn't need a genius to figure out.

With that said, I don't think anyone is explicitly saying "don't take this", rather it's more like "this should be better for what you're looking to do". I can't stop people from taking a Mist Lynx or Spider-5V... the enjoyment or torture is self-made, and every suggestion is what it is.. take it or leave it.

If you want empirical evidence, comp play usually does the work for you in most instances.

At best, only comp players can give you a list of "optimal options"... and if you want mediocrity... there's everything else. Can't force you one way or another.

I have no trouble recommending certain mechs to be LRM boats... just as long as it's not an Atlas (and if you don't care, that's fine too).

Circle them NS Wagons, lol. It's all good, I'm used to hearing how you have the only true way from you, anyhow.

lol?

It has nothing to do with NS or defending Gas... the point being is that you're being way too oversensitive. If you want to deflect, that's fine.. but it doesn't make your point any more or less valid.

Over sensitive? Only one triggered and oversensitive here is your boy. I simply echo'd his "Not impressed" statement, and expended it to include things that don't impress me.

He is the one who chose to get all worked up over that, and then project his own issues on me. But by all means, continue ignoring it in your boy, and reading way too much into what I'm saying. I got popcorn, and painkillers, and not a whole hell of a lot else on the agenda for the afternoon.

I didn't really get worked up, I just thought your "Pish posh, I don't really care about people being good at video games, more impressed by people who save lives, etc" comment was pretty dumb.

People that cannot move and shoot at the same time

People that still cannot shoot while they are standing still

People who are so bad at standing still that they manage to stand still in the middle of ramps, entries, choke points, etc

funnily, enough, it was spawned by a similar "pish posh, people playing video games the way I don't approve of, don't impress me" comment.... which I also thought was pretty dumb, hence my comment on it.

Huh. Go figure.
