Has anyone noticed when firing alot of SRMs or PPCs at the same time it seems that the full damage is not registered? I don't know if its because of my internet connection , my ping hangs around 55 or if its another problem.

i feel like my damage was underwhelming in some matches so i took my atlas to the testing grounds. Fired a 24 SRM + LBX 10 + 4 medium laser into the back of a commando and it did not core. Didn't notice to much damage to the side torsos.

SRMs can have some pretty nasty spread, which means a generous portion of them can flat out miss. LB-Xs suffer the same.

As for lasers and PPCs... gotta see some footage. If you're able to recreate it in a test map, that shouldn't be too difficult.

The only mech ive noticed having PPC hit reg issues is the Awesome 8Q , firing 2 + 2 ppcs right after another. The only thing that raised my interest is the paper doll fails to indicate a hit. Ive seen posts about SRMs and LRMs that theres simply to many missiles hitting the same place that some don't register.

I definitely notice dual PPC's and SRM's in mass don't always seem to register 100% of the time. SRM's especially when firing at point blank (like while face to face). I had 4x SRM6w/Arty blast at a Rifleman who was probably a few feet away barely go yellow on his torso's and no damage to the arms or legs.

No problems doing this in a Zeus with less fire power.

I'll see if I can't replicate it in an Atlas in a moment.

Was able to do it in an AS7-S (L) as well. No issues.

test arena mechs behave differently than in-game mechs.

He specifically said he was unable to do this in a test arena. I'm just trying to duplicate his claims.
