My initial question has been resolved, and |'ve updated this post with the answer in case it helps others. (Thank you to those who helped.)

The dates Mechs will be released for CBills:

Huntsman 7 Feb
Linebacker 7 March
Marauder-IIC 4 April
Bushwacker 2 May
SuperNova 6 June
Assassin 4 July

Is there any way to approximately calculate the CBill costs of new Mechs?

I have calculate and approximately for Hunstman C-Bills :

• HMN PRIME - 10.462.500
  
• HMN A - 9.450.000
  
• HMN B - 9.950.000
  
• HMN C - 9.900.000
  
• HMN P - 9.875.000

I just calculate by my formula when predicting Warhammer C-Bills release :

Gonna skip the Huntsman, as Pakhet is behind paywall, and the rest are inferior to HBK-IIC. I'm thinking of spending C-Bills in April once MAD-IIC shows up.

It does look far better than the HBK-IIC though. One of the most interesting 'Mechs appearance-wise.

That's the reason I'm buying it although I have all HBK-IICs.

My Purifier will be even sadder now that Huntsmans will probably be almost exclusively used as either an SRM or SSRM boat. At least Pirate Banes won't be as much of a pain in the ***.

8 Missiles is too much and you won't be able to mount arty anyways.

6 is plenty with the P arms and C torsos. The arms are not that low so having the 2M in each torso vs 2M in the arms is not that big a deal with 5 jump jets.




I sold my HBK IIC - B because the extra 1 JJ is actually useful when SRM poptarting and with smaller ST hitboxes and larger arm hitboxes for shielding, the Huntsman is a better missile platform than the HBK IIC.

Why do you say that?

Huntsman has a smaller profile and will (I think?) jump higher than a HBK-IIC.

I theorycrafted something like a splat Griffin with SRMs and SPLs... should be a real killer in Scouting.

The Metamechs Gauss+PPC jumpsniper looks like fun, too.

Currently, large amount of high torsi mounted hardpoints are meta (minimum exposure, maximum convergence), and HBK-IICs have them, for ballistics, missiles, and energy, more than that of Huntsman (Pakhet is a big exception but that's behind paywall, as I said). Also, Huntsman CT is more vulnerable than that of HBK-IIC. Finally, fixed JJs are not always a good thing, especially when you got 5 of them. I fought plenty of Huntsman, and not one of them, with the exception of the Hero, made any better impression over that of HBK-IIC.

Oh, and HBK-IIC can have up to 275 rating engine, while Huntsman is stuck at 250. Speed is something always needed for a medium mech.

Really the only reason to take any huntsman without the hero pods to make the splatsman is to look cool

Because you can't adjust engine or upgrades or # of jump jets, it's a heatsink starved mech, and its quirks are locked behind suboptimal set of 8s-- and even then they are not very good quirks except on the Prime. Hunchback IIC might not roll damage quite as well but that's countered by good twisting and abusing the ultra high mounts

They sure are quite the sexy chassis though, appearance wise

One additional and important question I'm having trouble finding an answer to is when/if certain reinforcement, loyalty, and special mech variants become available. For example the clan marauder has some pay 15$ extra ecm variant. Or there's the ecm stalker for the highest loyalty tier of last year. Will these be available for cbills too? Although there are ecm hero mechs that are the only one for that chasing so I guess pgi is selling ecm now (yes it's clearly been nerfed but it's still powerful enough that it's ****** to pay wall it to drum up more sales)

Honestly guys, I really think you will find the Huntsman underwhelming. The hero is kind of cool with its one trick pony build, but overall the chassis is subpar. I recommend avoiding it.

I bought it for the looks too, but I have a lot of buyer's remorse.

Yes, the reinforcment variants will hit the C-Bill shelves same time as "normal" variants. Heros are always for MCs. I can't remember about the early adopter bonus variant, but I think it's normal so it will be available for C-Bills as well. Only special mechs with C-Bill bonus will be available as MC only.

So the ECM Marauder IIC will be available for C-Bills in April, that's also one I'm looking for although Im starting to think it won't be that good.
