So the ECM Marauder IIC will be available for C-Bills in April, that's also one I'm looking for although Im starting to think it won't be that good.

The ECM Variant is not impressive, but I'm definitely buying the default MAD-IIC, as it has great amount of energy hardpoints.

Lol, I know how you really want that Stalker though.

Yup Posted Image I like stalkers and that ecm variant is clearly the best energy variant. Even for mechs I dont want though, like the archer, its still ******* ******** that PGI has stooped to making ecm exclusive for $$ on some mechs.

Yes, the reinforcment variants will hit the C-Bill shelves same time as "normal" variants. Heros are always for MCs. I can't remember about the early adopter bonus variant, but I think it's normal so it will be available for C-Bills as well. Only special mechs with C-Bill bonus will be available as MC only.

So the ECM Marauder IIC will be available for C-Bills in April, that's also one I'm looking for although Im starting to think it won't be that good.

Thanks for your reply! Well thats not as bad as I feared at least. It still sucks about the hero mechs with exclusive ecm. I wonder if the loyalty special variants will eventually come out for cbills also.

Currently, large amount of high torsi mounted hardpoints are meta (minimum exposure, maximum convergence), and HBK-IICs have them, for ballistics, missiles, and energy, more than that of Huntsman (Pakhet is a big exception but that's behind paywall, as I said). Also, Huntsman CT is more vulnerable than that of HBK-IIC. Finally, fixed JJs are not always a good thing, especially when you got 5 of them. I fought plenty of Huntsman, and not one of them, with the exception of the Hero, made any better impression over that of HBK-IIC.

Oh, and HBK-IIC can have up to 275 rating engine, while Huntsman is stuck at 250. Speed is something always needed for a medium mech.

Huntsman twists much better, you cover the whole torso with your hands

That's about it though, HBK is just better in all offense roles

However there is the looks, inside and out HMN looks way better

Thank you for the info involving the CBill releases. The Huntsman, Linebacker, and Marauder IIC were key Clan mech releases for the players looking for something that the mechs offered, including myself.

The linebacker in particular is a mech that people making videos and streaming games raved about how much fun it was. The fun factor nearly had me throw money at it, but it's been in the back of my mind since I passed on it. I'm glad to see it's just around the corner.
