I could forego all four of those founder's mechs, and instead get the Mad Cat and Vulture.

That is all <3

just rip out the hunchback arms and put it on the catapult and you have a mad cat.

You'll get your Madcat and Vulture, in a year or so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Madcat have lrm 20's? The catapult has 15.

No correction needed, you are right.

I kinda think a lot of people are missing the point of founders though. I know it's going to be different for everyone but in my eyes I paid to support a community I enjoy and hope they continue to roll out a great product.

Without our support they have no product.

Most of us who are founders bought the package because we've been involved in the Mechwarrior franchise for decades and wanted to support the game. If my $120.00 helps them develop a better product then I'm happy. I didn't do it for the mechs and I'm pretty sure most of the others didn't either. Correct me if I'm wrong....... OK. I also did it for early entry into the beta. Sue me.

You're right in that, and as supportive as I've been to FAFSA over the decades, I always get something out of my money that I enjoy for my dollars spent. I'd enjoy it, the 120 is worth it, but I dislike all of those chassis

I did it for the mechs, the c-bill bonus, the forum tag, the early access, AND to make sure the Devs get a paycheck

As much as I want my Timber Wolf, I can wait.
In the meantime, going between Dragon and Catapult will suffice.

I'd purchase a legendary pack if I got into beta right now!

Edit:
I had a dream where I purchased the legendary pack and got a beta invite, I awoke to find a legendary pack but no beta access. I am now sad.

In all actuality I'm just happy to support such an awesome looking game from a company that is actively communicating with their online community. All these additional beta invites make me happy to see such progress with the closed beta, and I'm glad that my 120.00 USD somehow contributed to this success in some small way or another.

Hell! I did it for all the reasons. The mechs, dev support, tag, the love of the game. 3 of the founder mech are ones I enjoy they may not be my favorites but enjoyed piloting them. Trust me if I pay $270 to pilot a real vintage WW2 trainer aircraft for 30 minutes. A $120 for a few days or more for a game I enjoy will be worth it. How many of us here pay $50 or more for a console game and beat it by the next day. So I see no difference in giving the dev's some money for giving me a good time.

It's worth every penny to get a new and improved MW game. Just thinking about this game brings back awesome memories from my days in MW4, MW2 and battletech tabletop game. Since the decline of MW4 my guild (as they want to call it) has been waiting for this. I cannot wait!!!
