MWO’s longest running 3rd party league “MRBC” is happy to announce that signups for its 9th season of competition will open on March 1st, 2017. The signup period will close March 31st and the first week of matches will begin on April 10th and is expected to run between 6-10 weeks.

MRBC is an 8v8 ladder league with teams divided into divisions based on prior season achievements and roster strength. New teams are able to start at the bottom and work their way up from season to season, fighting stronger opponents as they go. Teams at all levels will have the opportunity to compete within their divisions for MC which is provided by PGI.

With a focus on bringing competitive MWO into the spotlight, MRBC promotes match shoutcasts from all divisions on the MRBCLeague twitch channel . Even if you don't compete, be sure to follow so you can catch all of the action LIVE!

If your team is interested in competing in Season 9, please review the rulebook and submit a ticket to create your team.

"MRBC is an 8v8 ladder league with teams divided into divisions based on prior season achievements and roster strength." You left out other league and event achievements.

"New teams are able to start at the bottom and work their way up from season to season, fighting stronger opponents as they go." New Teams? The definition here is lost, since -OZ- is a new team, but they aren't starting at the bottom.

-OZ- has a very established and talented roster. In an effort to ensure fair and balanced league play, it would be foolish to start them at the bottom instead of with their peers. Lower divisions typically involve rosters that have never experienced competitive play.

Maybe New Teams means teams [with players that are] new to competitive play? Quite the leap we have to take, I know..

ok, so whats the roster for -oz- is it mostly past comp players, an amalgam of the best players from other teams that no longer compete? than, it has to be done where it is not free wins......free wins does not equal competition. we all know they might suffer immediately in the higher divisions, but teams catch their stride fairly quickly when linked to similar opponents. i dont think a team full of previously top tier pilots should be any lower than c, and If I remember correctly, these folks should probably be higher than that, otherwise whats the point to competition?

edit: is -OZ- osirez? because if so, anything less than B and more likely A would be a cosmic shame, that is a talented group of players, and you know it queenblade ::)
