Greetings MechWarriors. Today I have a simple question. Who at PGI, other than Russ, can we reliably have a good dialogue with about the health of this game? We always blame him, specifically, or Paul for problems with this game but maybe we should consider politely speaking with someone else, like Tina, to see positive change.

I must stress the part about politely speaking with them, not giving your ideas to them like you would to Russ.

Best time i see to talk about the game is when they do twitch events.

Only way to have a "reliably" "good dialog" "about the health of this game" would be to:

A) Establish a rapport with your audience/community such that there is a mutual feeling of trust, respect and cooperation.
B ) Share actual data with that community about said game so that they, the community, may analyze that data and make independent assessments of it.
C) Be consistent in your communications with the community and your assertions regarding the game.

PGI does none of these things. So, be it with Russ or anyone else, I don't expect it to be possible to have a "reliably good dialog about the health of this game" any time soon, or at least not until they make an effort at ANY of the above.

Meh. PGI will tell us what they want, when they want. If we don't like it, we can stop spending and/or stop playing. Those are the choices.

The best way to get communication with pgi is to quit spending money because the nanosecond they find out their bottom line is dropping they will scan the threads and "hot fix" some thing until people start spending money again. The last time this happened was with the new and improved by pgi mini map.

I'm sure there are plenty of PGI employees that would love to talk to us about the game. But Russ has them all under a gag order.

Even if they were to reassure you. People will still not be happy about it. There would be questions they can't answer. If they provided the data. People would just rip it apart and make accusations about what they're doing to fix it.

I think we're all just bored. The game doesn't offer enough changing content. Just tweaking existing features. We're waiting to see the skill tree. Beyond that we're just throwing memes at each other or arguing about how things should be changed.

I volunteered before, actually. My offer was politely declined the first time, and didn't get a response the second time, a few months later, during one of their latest PR disasters.
