At least for four of them. And Oh look...the kodiaks are losing all their inherent quirks for all variants.

Bunch of stupid changes

Like them Summoners getting hit with another nerf? Lol, I don't own a single one, but damn, even I feel sorry for them

Also pretty generous on SUpernova, but that was to be expected, cause otherwise it would be hugely inferior to the MAD IIC

It's because of the weapon skill trees.

I'd just be happy if someone can explain this myst lynx quirk for me please, as I use this mech.

Energy Cooldown -2.50% 0.00% -3% WHAT?!

Oh and KDK's got stripped down completely. Interesting.

So timber wolves get to keep the negative quirks on their side torsos, and dire wolves get to keep the -2 armor on the head because reasons. Great.

Ooh a 5% ER-L duration. Get your atomic precision stop-watch ready so you can measure the difference.

oK knock off the sky is falling crap...have you even LOOKED at the skill tree node values and how easy it is to min-max your fave chassis. Granted they're blanket increasing TTK by making defensive health bonuses painfully easy to acquire and reducing heat capacity/cooling and weapon cool down rates but that works both ways. It takes you longer to die to the enemy as well.
14 skill node unlocks on the defensive category is +25% structure, +15% armor, -20% fall damage and +2.5 AMS damage.

Actually, 5% makes the Clan ERLL go from 1.5 to 1.425.

That's the only case where it makes a bit of a difference, but probably not enough to make the Subpar-Nova relevant.

-5% combined with the -10% you get from skill tree for a -15% duration total.

That actually starts being noticeable with a duration of 1.275 seconds. Unquirked IS ERLL duration.

Well, it will add up with the skill tree duration skills so theres that.

Yep, but at the same time, the new IS ER LL duration is actually 1.25 - (.1)*1.25 as you know any IS ER LL boat will be maxing out that skill tree.

But... the MAD-IIC gets those same skills and its just a bit better (because its faster). When comparing balance, you can basically ignore the skill tree in a lot of ways provided you are comparing two mechs that will be using the same weapon trees, as they will both have almost exactly the same skill configs. Therefore, you just look at the base stats to compare, and you can see that with the SNV being slower, its going to be at a disadvantage. Because its a lot slower.

Mechs which due to the great latest de-quirkenings or that delivered with minimal to no quirks will benefit from the new skill tree because its doubtful PGI will nerf them much further. All my huntsman, vipers, night gyrs and linebackers with their weapon bonuses largely tied to the set of 8 bonuses for example... HELLO fine-tuning around the weapons I actually outfitted them with.
