Hello Mechwarriors,

So I was thinking about the skill tree and I thought of this...

Why not instead of unlocking the skills themselves we unlock points in the trees to spend and change freely.

And if we want to respect out of the tree that is when you spend money to refund the points you've bought into a tree.

IE.
I buy 7 points to spend in the UA Tree,
I Spec Range because I find myself fighting at range a lot,
down the road I find that I have trouble leading targets so
I change the selected Range Skills to Velocity Skills.

Then even further down the road I find that I like Energy Better so I refund the 7 points I have invested in UA into [Energy Tree Name here]

...and the re-spec price for moving points to another variant of a Mech should cost half as much as moving points to an entirely different chassis.

It would fix the issue of buy fall damage absorb when not needed, or hill climb on a spider

Half assed, no-solution. Issue with respec is not in moving points within one tree. (Only very small minority of people will be constantly moving between cooldown and range for lasers.)

Main issue is Cost of Moving from one Weapon tree to Another. (Actually from any tree to any other as you either try new weapon or role.)

Edit:
Now The Joke:
I have made proper solution hours ago
