Ridiculous Numbers
252 mechs owned and mastered.
$$$$ than I wish to publicly state supporting PGI and the game.
1. Current funds available, about 560mill cbills in the bank.
2. Estimated refund of module costs @500 Mill Cbills.
3. Total coffers 1.06 billion cbills after refund.
4. It will cost 9.1 mill cbills to master a mech, that is on top of purchase and build costs.
5. It will cost me 2,239,200,000 billion cbills to master all my 252mechs just to get back to playing status for all mechs.
6. After spending all 1.0 billion cbills I will be 1,233,200,000 in the hole.
7. At my average cbills per match (since last stat reset) i earn about 160k per match with premium time running.
8. I will have to play 7,706 more matches before I can finish getting back to where I was before the change.
9. I've played 11200 matches since last reset.
10. Let say i play 12 matches every day on average. It will take me 642 days to earn what I need to finish getting back to even. Not counting being able to buy zero mechs or consumables or mech changes.
Please tell me why I should continue supporting you PGI with my $$$ any longer?
Suggestion to correct this money sink
1. Reduce cost per node to 15k Cbills. 100K to unlock the Class.
2. Increase cbill awards to where they were before the great CBill nerf.
3. -or- Introduce a tiered cost system. Tiers cost more as you approach level 5. 100k to unlock a class, then 5k, 10k, 15, 20k, and 250K for last.
4. Remove cost of first 4 tiers of each tree. 100k per tier 5 node.
5. Make respect free.
6. If you want a money sink, simple reinstate ammo costs.
I have no problem with the EXP costs. I think they are appropriate.
The Overall Cbill costs for the Node system is too high.
