Respec Skill Tree cost's too much. 2Million CB to respec a whole Skill Tree is way too hich.

The costs must be at least halfed!

XP costs per Skill attribute are too high

1500 XP for one Skill attribute are simply too high. This should be at least reduced to 1000 XP or even better down to 750 XP!

If I would like to use every of my 91 Skill Points I would currently have to level 136500 XP for this mech that's alot lot more of what I would currently have to level...

Jump Jets Skill Tree:

VENT Calibration and Lift Speed needs to get doubled to at least 2% instead of 1% to give the Jump Jet Skills at least any additional value and even then, those values need to be reviewed, probably it's still not enough to make the Jump Jet Skill Tree worth to skill.

Weapon Skills:

Every property should be free to reach. To explain this better:

If I want to skill only Pulse Laser Heat I have to activate 8 other skill attributes until I finally reach my -Heat attributes.
That's completely unfair and makes it difficult to have Skill Points for other Weaponsystems left.
This is an disadvantage for those that want to perform different weapon systems on their mechs.

Make the weapon systems ladder-like, for every attribute an own ladder like:
- one for heat
- one for range
- one for cooldown
and so on...

...and not woven as it is currently on the PTS!

Existing Quirks on Mechs such as Acceleration/Deacceleration on Mechs like the Locust:

Since it's possible to gain 35% Acceleration/Deacceleration from the Skills more than before (currently it's 15%) I guess it's time to nerf such mechs.
In total a Locust would have with it's existing Quirks an Acceleration/Deacceleration of 110%! The existing mobility quirks of all mechs need to get in my humble opinion reviewed for nerfs!

Mech Operations - Attribute "Magazine Capacity"

This was also several times already mentioned here but I mention it again:
The Magazine Capacity is missing LRM/SRM/S-SRM, NARC and machine guns!
AMS would also be an option to add...

That's all for the moment!

Well in comparison as to the grind currently vs what will be for 1 mech:
Currently:
>Buy 3 mechs of the chassis, spend at LEAST 30m to customize all 3.

>Grind up a total of 150,500 XP in total between the mechs (If you haven't mastered a chassis in that weight class) or 107,500 XP if you have.

>Spend another 14m at least for modules. (Counting the standard loadout of 1 mech module, 2 weapon module, 1 mech/weapon module using Radar Deprivation as 1 because it is mandatory and Advanced Zoom just to give the cheapest module available as an example.)

> Grind up 27,000 GXP to unlock the modules (again, using radar derp + advanced zoom and 2 weapon modules as an example)

And half the time you'll sell 1 or 2 of the 3 chassis once you master them. So that's already dimishing returns cause you only get like 10 or 20% of the value of that mech? I mean, if you're a new player and don't have the mechbays to keep it all and you want to get a nice stable of mechs for FP.

What will be:
> Buy 1 mech, spend your 10-20m customizing it.

> Grind 136,500 XP/GXP and 9.1m Cbills for the skill tree.
note: each node costs 1500 xp OR gxp. and you don't need to "unlock" the modules anymore.

> spend 25,000 cbills per node to refund spent skill points to adjust your skill tree.
note: when refunding, the XP is 100% refunded, so no further grinding needed.
if you spent GXP to unlock a node, it will be refunded as XP for that mech, NOT GXP. so keep that in mind.

The big downside of this new skill tree system is you can no longer share you modules between mechs. everything is locked to that specific mech you spend points on.

You compared the cost of outfitting three mechs to outfitting one mech under the new system.

Old system is 110k or so exp for three, new system is 400k for those same three. Old system costs 9-15m upfront costs but that can be moved around (annoying but cheap), new system is 27 million for those same three.

So the new system is much more expensive and time consuming than the old system. The only exception being if you were getting unique modules for each mech at which point the costs almost balance out bu the exp is still much more expensive.

I think the costs should be halved. The old system cost for modules was too much to begin with so it needs to be reduced. There are so many mechs I can spend c-bills on instead of grinding out c-bills to get one mech where it fights decently.

The exp costs are way too much. 750 per skill should be the most. If I like a mech I'm going to play it anyway, but I shouldn't have to grind for days to get enough exp to make the mech fun. I'll start looking at all those other mechs out there and realize it's just not fun to grind all of them. There needs to be balance between time sink and enjoyment. The current version is heavily skewed toward time sink.

The last issue is having to waste skill points on unwanted skills. It's so bad that I can't see playing if this goes live simply because it makes the one mech I play all the time no fun to play. Having to take skills that are useless to my build in order to get the skills that are critical makes me not happy. If I'm not happy then why should I keep playing?
