There is a thread for recruiting called the Hiring Hall. There is also approaching groups directly, especially if you encounter them during group play or in their own group forums. You'll find casual groups, competitive groups, "Tournament" groups and "ZOMG we've got so many people that we're gonna refer to you as a number" groups.

------

Zhi-Zhu Mercs, which has been in a lull for a while, is starting to get active again. However while there's always room for people to join in, a competitive player probably won't be able to feed his or her drive as well with a group of more casual players like ours. Winning while nice, isn't a driving factor so much that it will never cut into being able to have fun or screw around. If that is fine with you, we tend to hook up on the weekends and we're looking to expand our good times. Of course whatever you decide and whomever you work for, good luck and godspeed.

Welcome back to MWO btw.

below are links to where you can find each factions area, if you know what faction you want to join look at the links below, if you do not care which faction look at Mercinary, most merc corps switch between factions, so if you want to play faction play and have both inner sphere and clan Mechs that you want to use merc is probably the way to go

I recomend you ask a few questions before you join, what times and time zones are you active (you do not want to be a UK player who joins a unit only active in the US evenings which are early hours of the UK morning), what level of play do you prefer (competitave, casual, somewhere in between) are you willing to help train new players, is there a code of conduct and what does it say.

I am with a fairly large (about 180 member) international merc corp, with people from North America, Europe and Australia, our teamspeak usualy has at least a few people on, code of conduct is basicly honourable conduct and PG comms, we have a training program to complete which will teach about most of the mechinics you need to know to do well, we have casual and competitave players, if you are intersted there is a link to our website in my signiture

Thank you for the help Koniving and Rogue Jedi, I will make a post in the hiring hall and see how that goes. Ive been playing quick matches so far just to build up my mechs and such. Im always down for random shenanigans and good old fun, that's usually more fun then being competitive haha. I'm looking for a group that i can consistently play with so i can learn more about the game before getting competitive and most of all to have fun. My League of Legends gaming group left to play other games so im hoping to join a new group. I joined Clan Wolf last night just to play around with faction play only to realize i cant do anything because i only have two mechs, one on each side haha. I am a night owl and am usually on between 9pm to 7am UTC -5.
