1) Keep the mech experience cost where it is, but cut the c-bill cost in forth. Only use mech experience to unlock a node, GPX will come into play later.
2) Have diminishing returns and escalating cost the further you go down the skill tree. The last node shouldn’t cost more then double the cost of the first node in the tree. (Sorry I was lazy and didn’t do the math)
3) Once a node is unlocked it stays unlock and is unlocked for all variants of that chassis. Also have an unlimited number of nodes you can unlock for each mech chassis.
4) Unlocking a skill node doesn’t make it active for the mech; you have to pay for each node you want to use. The activation cost per node, should be the same as the c-bill cost to unlock, plus 100GPX.
5) You can deactivate and activate the skill nodes as many times as you want. But it cost each time you activate a node to use on the mech, even if you had it activated at an earlier time but deactivated it.
6) Bring back the rule of 3 to completely master a mech chassis. Have a different number of nodes to activate that depend on the level of mech mastery.
a) 60 activation points for Basic level

c) 90 activation points for Master Level
