Take screenshots of your current XP expenditures. Keep a running tally of GXP and MXP spent per class until the skill tree patch. Make sure the numbers match if/when the transition occurs. If your numbers don't match, speak up.

We are an additional checksum in the process, and we are the ones that stand to lose if there is an unnoticed bug in the transition.

I have set up an excel sheet to keep track for my own records, but the only way this will work for everyone is if enough people notice any possible bug and then speak up about it. Two or three catching it will get dismissed.

Yes, it was a lot of work, no I don't have as many mechs as some, but I do have a lot. And quite frankly, the more mechs you have the more you stand to lose.

Not making accusations, being a pessimist, or being anti-PGI, it's just common sense to keep your own survey on your numbers when it comes to someone else modifying them. 'Two sets of eyes' and all that.
