We are going to get the Supernova and.............................?

The big release was supposed to be the Skill Tree but that will be delayed for obvious reasons.

So we got very little in January due to the holidays and may get even less in February. I hope that PGI has a little surprise that they can throw in to make the wait until the March patch more bearable.

A new map would really perk me up! Posted Image Yeah, right.

It's always best to lower your expectations.

You'll never know what'll disappoint you in MWO.

Probably just some faction play fixes and improvements, maybe a minor quirk pass.

This is what you call a lot of work since Russ put PGI "on notice". Posted Image Anyone who has been on the Forums and dealt with PGI, knows it goes kind of like this ...

When you start a thread like this, you have to realize it's basically a carte blanche for all us bittervets to unleash our Island-memes. So without further ado...

<clears throat>

Big things coming in July.

PS: I would settle for a spring version of Polar Highlands covered by long grass, with a few small groves (groups of trees) and possibly a narrow, shallow river snaking its way between the hills. It shouldn't take the map designers much more than a day.

With a statue of Julie Andrews with her arms out-stretched on top of one of the mountains that if you shoot it, passive aggressive IS guy or pissed of clanner guy starts singing "The hills are alive with the sound of music..." depending on who has possession of the nearest node. Now that would be impressive map design.

Yeah, it would probably delay IK by another few months.

The more you say it, the more it is delayed another 60 to 90 days.

Only if she spend 76 of her 91 nodes; at a cost of about 7.5 million cbills. I hope, for her sake they don't nerf those those mac-10s, cuz then ya gotta think she'll have to eat the respec fee.

Yeah... my 7dtd base is getting a lot prettier and more complex...

a bit meh about dropping at the mo. I have being leveling new mechs for months... but as ST1.0 is going to change so much, I've lost mah enthusiasm.

The superheated hamster looks like a neat new target. Especially whilst people are leveling it up... so I guess I'm a little excited about the feb patch... new mech to shoot or flame Posted Image

edit: missing words

I'm crossing my fingers for inverse kinematics. I also hope something is done to reduce clipping with the animation models.

The Nerfinator Normalizer is on the case. Time to normalize the armor quirks on the OP Victor, if you ask me.

Come March we're supposed to get the introduction of the new Mech purchase scheme which was to coincide with the revamp of the skill system this month, since we no longer need to buy the basic "3 mech" pack to skill up the mechs.

Obviously the skill system will now probably be part of the March patch as well.

We're also supposed to get, sometime between March and May/June, the new 3060+ tech. Which will bring in the remaining IS weapons that only the Clans have access to right now, along with oodles of new stuff that will f*** with balance in completely new ways.

Part of the 3060+ tech will also be the introduction of four 3060+ mechs, two for each side.

I think that's plenty, don't you?

Hmm. I wanna say it'll all get delayed. But we're slowly bleeding players and new weapons would probably bring some people back just to see how crazy it all gets. MRMS PLEASE!
