To be clear, I'll be giving out multiple prizes. One of the prizes is reserved for those who pre-registered. The rest everyone will have a chance to earn. And what better way to learn about stock mechs than to play in this tournament? You might have some growing pains in the first fight or two, but you'll get a hang of it. And, I guarantee you, you won't be alone among first-timers. Most folks rarely get a chance to play with stock mechs because it requires private lobbies, and is not as fun unless you have several other people to sacrifice their possible c-bill earnings to play this mode. I've got one guy coming that doesn't own any inner sphere mechs at all, so he will be using trial mechs. We'll have all kinds of players there with all levels of play and experience.

And remember, this is meant to be a fun, casual tourney and a way to meet new people and build the community. Show up on time, and we'll get you a team and you'll be set!

Really a lot of fun in this tournament. Thank you Peiper and Preesa for hosting such a great event.

This event really highlighted some great features of MWO that is not normally seen in quickplay or faction warfare. By choosing a specific subset of mechs and limiting builds, the entire dynamic of the game shifts away from typical meta with relatively low time-to-kill and forces players to adapt to less-than-ideal builds that have weird hardpoints, poor heat efficiency, or a spread of weapon ranges.

Lots of excellent teamwork and sportsmanship in the tournament and definitely a great time.

Thanks again to the organizers and thank you PGI for supporting it with great prizes.
