Looking for serious responses but I guess I won't find that in these forums. I still have fun sometimes losing as lone wolf. Been playing mech warrior since the mid 90's. The game is still fun and I'll support it. Wish it was P2P and maybe could weed out some rif raf eh? Ah well you can't have everything I suppose.

Do the greatest damage in the shortest time friends.. There I've went and cast pearls before swine..

Be melting you soon..

Hmmm give me high dmg people to play with.

Breaks 1k regularly (implying many games under).

So not a 2k+ player, which is a high dmg player

I have worked out the riddle. He wants to be carried!

You can't really say that in this general way anymore, since the different gamemodes matches usually don't have a compareable length.

When going through some of my last matches, i had 1823 dmg used 1 mech in a match of conquest on tourmaline. It only lasted like 11 1/2 minutes because the enemy team got rekt on caps and we had a 4-cap most of the time.

Another match was skirmish on therma, 2981, used 3 mechs, match lasted for about 22 min.

The first match had a considerably higher per minute damage than the second one, still the total damage would be below your "high damage player" threshhold.

Especially matches on conquest can end in ~ 1/3 of invasions maximum possible time, with the enemy team only using like half of their mechs.

I Play as lone wolf almost all the time. I do over 1k damage regularly and am usually highest dmg in the entire match and sometimes higher damage than all other 11 teammates combined. I would like to do this on the winning team. I don't care about factions or guilds etc. Just give me 12 high damage people to play with. I haven't played too much for the past few months out of boredom and each patch taking some freedom and fun away but I'll come back steady for a good team. Will communicate out of game as well LINE etc for quick team play. I'm all about fighting and refuse to sit and wait long.

Over 3500 matches played total.
Good cable internet
Water cooled PC with ATI 295x2 card
Adult Player PST zone

If you don't think that highest team dmg wins 99%+ matches then no need to reply.

That is all.

Ya wasn't a troll. I think doing over 1k damage several time an evening is pretty good for lone wolf in a QUICK PLAY group. I'm not talking about faction warfare. In that I did thousands in damage. Don't see many others doing it. Yes I play assault mostly or NARC raven. I will NARC the entire enemy team but it just isn't as good as high dmg. I have over 80 master mechs but I believe in damage and assaults get me the most in the shortest time.

I also have played lone wolf for so long because I don't want to wait around to hear fools when I can just quick play and own them all.

this is the faction warfare forum, why would anyone assume your bragging is about quickplay?

lol yes I was wondering the same thing.

Upon researching, his avg match score across seasons with more than 10 games... Avg is 261.

So not T3 potato, not T1 steamroller either. Better than potato!

(I'm just stirring you now Mars, not being serious in the above really).

WOT?

Half the fun of FS is sitting in TS taking the piss outta each other while waiting for a drop, or better yet while in a drop.

After 2hrs of QP last night I'd had enough and had to stop playing cause of the amount of idiocy that goes on.

At least in FP 2-3 good players can turn a tide over 4 waves. In QP to achieve that is a lot harder IMO, mainly as you can't select the mech for the map.

I doubt you'll be melting me anytime soon. I don't play in the PST peak hours.

Anyway, I don't know if you've heard but bragging doesn't get you into units that are actually good. Also, these posts don't get you noticed by units either.

Good luck with your search

Well that makes sense. Honestly I thought you were trolling or were a super naive noob. Both happens often.

That's why you bring mechs that can potentially carry on every map Posted Image
And the main reason why i don't use my Spirit Bear too often. It's such a fun mech, but whenever i use it, i'm almost guaranteed to end up on polar highlands or alpine peaks with two teams that chose to trade at 800m+ .

The good thing with QP is that you aren't stuck with terribads as long. Yesterday i had to play an invasion match, attacking on Boreal with some of the puggliest pugs i have seen in a long time. The match was lost after 3 minutes, i was stuck for 24 more minutes while they got farmed. Match ended 28:48 against us, of which i got 9 kills on 2032 damage while 9 puggels on my team were below 1k. I lost my first mech on about 250 damage because i called the push through the gate an was one of a grand total of 3 people to actually push through the gate, while the rest of the puggels backpaddled when being shot the first time.

~ 8 of 12 players on my team didn't make it through the gate for one single time during the whole match. The got farmed so hard by ERLL Battlemasters it did hurt. An i was there, stuck for the whole match.

If you get those teams in QP, you are done after 4 minutes , because terribads who play that timid will get rolled 0:12 quickly. In FW the agony lasts so much longer.

lol nature of solo PUG dropping.

Assume you've got 11 potatoes (usually at least 8). And play to win with the most meta shart you can muster :D
And ye, a SB is a pure line breaker. Cannot be used in anything other than a team environment.

Problem is not the maps most of the time. It is the idiots that see

1. Its Boreal
2. Still bring brawlers
3. Don't move in the gates to BRAWL RANGE
4. Get picked apart @ 1100m+

PUG potatoes will be forever tasty when fried.

Getting into a good unit is pretty tricky. Here's a recipe that should work:

1. Make a meta drop deck (no NARC ravens)

2. Screenshot a few match scores with 2k+ damage (3k would be even better)

3. Pick a unit you like and go on their TS

4. Talk to people there and show them your screenshots

5. Politely ask if you can drop with them for a while

6. After you make some friends you'll be invited to the unit

Hope this helps, good luck :)

We trolled your post just to bump it for you. #ZMOMCARES

Ninja above has good advice plus decide if you like clan or IS most as most units have preferences or split equally.
