Get one or two, but it's not at epedemic levels like World of Tanks

I don't see a whole lot of it unless we're midway or further through an event, you get players that have been trying to get their scores in playing for longer than they should and getting frustrated. Seen it quite a bit. Just mute them.

When I rage I tend to make it passive aggressive.

Like Dom on Frozen when team nascars far edge of map and I'm on cap with 3 other mates and we get rolled by the whole enemy team while the rest of my team is still nascaring, by time they reach cap the enemy is already 6 seconds away from winning and gets picked off by the enemy and we lose.

So I type: "Nice to know my team was helping with cap", stuff like that.

(I still think there needs to be a penalty for those that pick Dom but don't spend at least 30 second on the cap.)

You've just described the lion's share of my experience playing DOM on Frozen - it drives me absolutely insane. Honestly, what are the Nascar-ers thinking? "oh man being 2000m away from the dom point with no enemies remotely close to us, while the whole team is closing in on the objective is gunna get us a HYYUUGE win!!!11!!"

sigh

It's okay someone called me bad when I pulled 1k+ damage in my Atlas. They'll pretty much rage at anything...

The toxicity pretty much at the level of safe in MWO, but since I play LoL for 4 years I have been subjected to toxic levels of Chernobyl for so long, from the time last season I reach Plat for the first time, and dealing with the worst of the worst. And I play on EUW and personally it a sh*thole server full of wannabe metawhores, and streamer copycats.

But yeah the game can get frustration, I just go off on MWO and take my frustration on players in LoL and come back to MWO.

Playing with people who pack LRMs into an assault and hang back all game is pretty frusterating. If you don't want to soak damage for your team then don't play assaults.

Last game I rage quit (just quit without watching, no commentary) there was an enemy atlas who was first over the hill. We fought hard but he just soaked up that initial wave of damage and while we were busy with him the rest of his team saundered out over the hill behind him. Good job enemy atlas, u make me mad!

I sometimes refit my Atlas with LRMs and always stay 500m behind my team while typing "hold locks" in the chat. I may add "they had better locks" when my team lost the game. Isn't as much fun in lower tiers though...but very entertaining in tier 1 or CW as teammates get "passionate" very often ;)

Oh god I remember the STATS crowd in WoT which is practically all of them now RELIC and the gang telling people to "kill yourself because you have bad stats" without even seeing them play.

Yeah I play LoL too but for some reason them being annoying with typing I find funny but people raging on voice coms I find hard to ignore and am tempted to rage back.

I haven't gotten mad playing this game. I do get annoyed when someone blames the rest of the team for their own poor performance, though.

before ; MAN F U

Now: you guys could use some improvement, maybe check out the academy,

If your doing under 1000 damage in FW, you should invest in 4 thunderbolts it will keep u a live longer

also , practice more in solo drops or group drops. FW gets real, really fast.

: like that simple, just say nice things. or say nothing at all

I once tried to introduce a friend of mine to this game. He usually played slow paced games and stuff. After sitting down with him and trying to coach him through his first few games he finally threw up his hands and said he wasn't having any fun and then asked me how the hell I manage to pay attention to all the things happening at once that I need to pay attention to. I guess it requires a special kind of brain training to be able to track your position, your teammates position, your minimap, your targeting info, your weapon ranges and cooldowns, your aimpoint, your heat, your armor and internal status, and your ammunition all at the same time. When he put it that way to me he made me realize just how much a good player at this game needs to be able to multitask and flip their brains from one set of information to the next flawlessly and seamlessly. It seems so easy to me but there's actually so much going on, no wonder some people just get overwhelmed.

I'm generally pretty behaved in chat, but I've definitely pointed out a player before for not contributing. Last I recall was December or so on Tourmaline. Long story short, team died in a brawl. Last two mechs were an ERLL Warhawk and some Warhammer with ERLL sniping at max range. And I don't mean max effective. I mean at the 1200-1400 meter extreme. I called them out on it, since they removed a heavy and assault from the fight for the entire match. They replied that they were "playing their roles" and that they weren't built for close. I told them that wasn't the point, they were doing nothing at those ranges, not dealing damage and not sharing armor. To prove their point, these two then rushed in and died.

Ultimately they didn't play smart, and rather than learning, they acted like babies. That makes me salty, and yes, I will chew their asses out.

Most games though, it's a non issue. People make stupid mistakes. Life happens. It's the blatantly selfish behavior that causes losses that brings the salt out

*twitch*. I don't mind LRMs at high tiers, but you've got to be setup for it. Either group up with a dedicated narcer, or if running solo bring your own narc and work the front 300 meters (eg Narc + LRM Summoner) etc. If you're doing neither (as it sounds with your Atlas), then you've just removed 100 tons from the fight and put your team at a disadvantage from the start. Because it's not their responsibility to hold locks at high tier, it's yours.

I managed to get someone to rage at me most of a match in voip last week. I made him go the distance, he even sent me a friend invite at the end which i had to decline lol.

But other than that i can't remember the last time i heard anything related to rage in chat. It happened ofc but what... twice a year? Theres often salt and bitterness which i find worse than rage. Rage at least is funny and can be played upon.
