I used to white knight for PGI and to implore folks to support them because I truly thought that they (PGI) had the best interests of the game, its underlying IP, and the players and customers at heart.

Boy was that a rough patch of having my faith torn apart and my eyes ripped wide open.

I tend to lose lore argument to people with like 20 books and all the technical handouts from tabletops.

Honestly, lore to me is Mechwarrior 3 and 4 and 5 minutes of Sarna research, not even Mechwarrior 2 because I didn't own a computer back then. But regardless of what the lore book says, "Owens" is definitely based on Jesse Owens, not some arbitrary deep south phrase about speed.

(And I will continue to disseminate that as a fact, NOTHING WILL STOP ME! MUHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHA)

a friend and I had talked about the blue PPC's many years ago (not knowing lore and all that) and we concluded it had to be ball lightning

anyways I was wrong

we have the very dumb looking lightning look for the PPC's because of lore

I regret nothing, but if you are really looking for inspiration on how to handle such things, I say you wait for BloodWolf to respond.

He's got vastly more experience than anyone else I can think of.

Well I did not post something that needed to edited but I did post I did not know where Istanbul was. Then I learned. Some people where how do you say ******* about it and then others where pretty nice to teach me where Istanbul was. But now I know, so suck it!

Took me a minute to realize what you were talking about. I was really sick back then and was royally confused when I found it on the forums, and I'm really sick now and was confused about this post. The circle of life, or something, I dunno.
