So I just picked up this mech and trying to build it around AC20 + 3xSRM6+A with XL380, but I cant make the SRM's to fire in single volley. It fires them in three separate volleys making brawling with it quite annoying and greatly increasing the facetime.

And no, I dont have them in chain fire or anything. Even when I just hit alpha strike the missiles fires like they are chainfired. I have lots of SRM mechs and never have had this problem with any of them.

Yeah, the Victor doesn't have a full tube count, so it has to volley fire missiles. We've been waiting for it to get an update for awhile now. Mark Nicholson (One of the devs) did mention that they know it's a problem and it's on the table for being fixed.

Been a problem since it's release during closed beta, over three and a half years ago, actually it's more like over four.

We are waiting for months/years for a tube count rework but it falls not under PGIs "priorities".

Just put in a 6, 4 and a 2 and thats the max missiles you can fire in one volley.

They keep saying they are gonna fix it, i think whoever is doing it only has one finger and moves at the speed of smell.

What's really galling is that they've fixed it for some mechs, but not others. SMH.

Was technically in Open Beta (may 2013, whereas I think Open Beta launched Oct 29 012..though it might have been delayed a patch or two... can't remember), but yeah....that issue has plagued the efficacy of the design since inception.

Heh... you'd be amazed how often little things like XML edits go unfixed....

Real live evidence of why sized hardpoints are a terrible idea.
