Which Clan heros? Not the pack you mean right? Those were pretty weak, but Scorch/Boiler/Spirit Bear are all very good.

Wolf hound with ecm and mpls have xl280 with no heatsinks, can't brawl against lct, fs, cheeta, jenners, etc, i.e. can't roam the map freely despite ecm, 7 spls minimum

Zeus, yeah in stats, but sb has no convergence issues and a lot more hs and ammo. The convergence issue is my issue, I wish all the missiles were in the torsos or even 3 in 1st, 1ct.

Grasshopper, only if it has heat quirks, cuz that is a timber build with 5 more tons in weapons and 5 fewer tons... 14 hs means 2 alphas and you're done also competition with night gyrs at 5 tons more.

Sorry I mean as compared with all clan heroes, the battlements clan hero's are great, and the rest are omnimechs... full meta ahead.

Especially bitter about king crab hero lol, wanted one so bad but I am not buying another Boars Head.

Yeah good question but, probably, there will be no early adopter reward, like for the previous Clan Heroes

They managed to showcase the IS Heroes in February. I hope that means that the Clan Wave II and Wave III heroes that were scheduled for April will be shown in March. June and July seem like a long time to wait for them though. Because there is no advantage to preordering them, I guess that I will not be spending any cash until July now unless they show something that really blows me away between now and then.

I still remember being a newbie and getting burned with a Boars Head purchase, I naively thought they wouldn't sell a 50$ mech which is the worst of the chassis, yes, all of the free ones. How wrong I was, and it's still the worst all these years later. Pay to win = bad, but the cash only mechs should be in the top 25% percentile without complaints as long as the best variants of each chassis are free. Yet PGI still sells hero mechs that will be in the bottom 25% overall, it's not necessary to burn paying customers to avoid p2w, just make them the 2nd or 3rd best of each chassis.

The Urbanmech stole the show, only mech that caught my interest at first. Those lights will have to work, when he gets a kill. Did get the ECM Wolfhound too.

So essentially these are some slight variations with cool patterns and the c-bill bonus but are not grossly overpowered that the crowd starts in with the 'pay to win' threads?
