Classic PGI.

They should give it a 1000% missile cooldown to balance it out.

There is another post buried on page 2 about the same issue. From what I have seen it is all mc only mechs. I have the problem with my jenner IIc-O and loyalty cataphract. Others have reported issue with the champion battlemaster. I couldn't be bothered clicking on the acceleration graphs for all mechs in the store, but did for the 87 I own, and it was only the 2 that were impacted. Also first noticed it in a match. My poor team. Jenner isn't really a striker when an enemy bump brings you down to 1km/h and you accelerate slower than a snail.

Battlemaster 2C took three minutes to get to 65 kph and that wasn't even top speed, and then it stumbled over a rock and dropped to 24 kph. However, I could keep trundling along at 40 kph while shut down from overheat, so that was neat.

Yeah my Sparky is also taking FOREVER to get to top speed. There's clearly something wrong. My other MC-only mechs are accelerating just fine.

Does PGI play test their own game?

There's never enough hilarious rhetorical questions.

You may have to set it to 1080 and reload it to get better quality. I made this video from test, showing that I had most of the agility tree including kinetic burst, and yet still the acceleration is awful. Deceleration is just as bad but as you can see I can slow it down faster by using jump jets, go figure.

There is a decimal point error for both the Sparky and the Timber Wolf TBR-C(S) variant (Steam package special one).

Both of them have decimal level acceleration and deceleration values.

I thought these got fixed? Well, they'd better get fixed by the time this hits live servers.

Bishop or maybe it was Quicksilver had a thread going listing all the mechs with the decimal error. Others I know about are the Quickdraw 4G and the Loyalty Cataphract. I think I saw somebody write up a comment about one of the Hunchbacks too.

Of course it'll be fixed. People paid actual money for these variants. Posted Image

Lol... so typical.

Zero quality control, no checking of anything, and failure to fix the problem the first time when it's pointed out. I also like how one player could keep on moving when technically shutdown. Wow.

To be fair, there are hundreds of mechs that PGI has to go through and change the agility values for. A few errors are to be expected. It's the REST of the Skill Tree PTS that's a problem!

Yeah, but still... it's not the mistake itself, but the consistency of their mistakes. Honestly, I'm just disgusted at this point. There's not even a scrap of shame in what they put on the PTS for the skill maze. Just toss something up there, hope nobody complains too loud, and call it done. Ugh.
