Why is "Hill climb" under "Mech operations" and not under "Mobility"?
Same goes for "Speed retention"
Makes zero sense to me.

Do you really want even more nodes in mobility tree ? I got an better idea, why not throw the hell away all the useless skills that nobody wants to take ? Just get rid of them once and for all, cut, delete, erase. Imagine that now instead of Radar Deprivation module you are buying Hill Climb, nice trade right ?

Hill climb is a points sink pure and simple and should be in mobility, one would think.... You would also think that AMS is a weapons system.. anti missile SYSTEM and would be in the WEAPONS tree.

Besides moving their location, HC and SR both need to be overhauled to have any worth.

Hill Climb needs to increase your minimum and maximum slowdown angles instead of making you decelerate slightly slower.

Speed Retention needs to not have a maximum speed cap. Capping it at 50 kph makes it useless. If maxed out SR let a light or medium move at 50% speed while legged, then suddenly it might be kinda useful. Even then you'd still probably die quickly.

Considering the lore is that legged mechs cannot move at all... be thankful we can in this game.

Battletech lore indicates that a mech missing both legs is still a combat element, using one arm to prop itself up and fire still.

That would change the game a bit too.
