I know a lot of other games that have pretty popular streaming and youtube channels. While I don't think MWO will ever hit many viewers to make any money, it would be a cool thing for some people to stream and upload match vids. I've seen some youtube vidoes (NDA breakers) already, so I would imagine a lot more plan to do so when it's legit to help get people interested.

So any founders on here planning to do HD streams/videos come NDA drop? Note: Do no mention if you are in beta or not. I am not in beta so I feel comfortable talking about this.

Have a feeling by the time any decent vids roll-out we will all be playing the game. Still would be nice to see some MWO action.

I might, but I'll probably stream GW2 instead since I have a team for that and I'm not sure how many people will want to watch MWO.

ah yeah, I don't mean stream for money, I just mean show the game to people who might want to watch etc. Going off WoT and some other games, stream viewers will be low, but still, doesn't hurt to show people interested in the game. I think even beta leaks only got 10k views etc, so I'd expect like 20 viewers.

I was toying with the idea of doing some Mechwarrior videos/commentaries. Need to actually play the game first to see if anyone would want to see me play

I was planning to stream and release youtube "Quick start guides" so that new players can be given all the info they need to start tearing up the place. All this is after the NDA is lifted, of course! I'm hoping that when I finally get into the beta there's nothing in the NDA that says you can't build up footage on your PC *before* the NDA is lifted, that way I can edit the videos and what not during my free time over the summer.

As long as there's no NDA then heck yeah... I'll be holding a vlog of my MWO exploits, highights, and games.

I want to show this to the world... that's how beautiful I think this is...

Only reason I won't do it is if there's an NDA involved... in which case this will have to stay hidden from the world .

Can't wait for August 7.

I used to make videos for my clan back in the day. That was before I went to college and started making videos of my own.

So yes, yes you will see some pretty dramatic videos especially since I've written a script and would love to be able to make a full fledged movie with my clan mates.

No one knows when the NDA drops dude, relax, if you read the OP It assumes august but I clearly state "when nda drops"

Also I would never have gotten founders if it wasn't for NDA breaking videos so whatever. Not really a fan of the produced content and a simple fan video sold me on the games potential.

I believe when Aug 7th olls around its no longer considered beta and we can post any videos we want.
