Dear PGI,

It's great that you have acted on people's feedback regarding sp unlocks and re specs.... . (45k cbills is okay I guess, thanks for the drop, if we are having cbill costs for sp)

I feel that a number of people are currently more concerned about the cost to re skill there huge stable of mechs that the meta has long past by (and have no interest in currently playing) or feel like the amount of new grind required to once again have the shiny 'mastered' star ticked on each existing mech is simply too much.

So how about we park the skill node costs. And instead look at what can be done for the players with 200, 300 or 400 strong mech stables where people have calculated the time in years, that it would take for them to re master there mechs...

Actually, how much does it cost to unlock all the nodes for full customization on say a Shadow Cat (where you have reason to buy every weapon node, ECM nodes and even JJ nodes)?

We're talking about the price of just 1 configuration and if you are changing it your costs will be higher than the initial cost of 91 points.

The drawback of the new Skill system will be loss of player creativity and re-invention in Mechlab. No way to use all the mechs we have so a bad plan overall. Needs to be more initial ease of ramp-up or sharing of Skill points across chassis. Then take a long time to get to special nodes. I didn't get to play the last Test due to a reinstall, but just feeling like I will never be able to use all my mechs and not know if I am wasting my Skill points and time on a certain Mech.

One thing that came across solidly on Test was that LRMs would be very nerfed since I could not see any improvement in LRM damage after going to the bottom of the LRM Skill tree and the damage of a mech with no LRM tree. The new 900-1010 meter range was laughable.

LRMs are definitely nerfed. A lot of LRM mechs have their missile velocity and cooldown quirks nerfed, and the skill tree barely covers the deficit. All in all, weapon variety is gonna go down, until the new tech comes out.

91 max; so you won't be able to get everything. 91x 45k cbills 4,095,000 cbills (if that figure is correct was 60k on the PTS) and 91x 800xp 72,800 xp.
