I really love this map. However, this map is hardly up for voting. So it cannot be even played. Am I just unlucky or is this really the case. I'd like to hear your experiences. Thanks in advance

A map shows less the more it's being voted (said PGI).

You are kidding. Mining Colony is one of the most popular maps. I know because I play as a Narc RVN most of the time and that map is almost as bad the Viridian Bog for LRMs.

Collective people, collective. It isn't a colony, it's a collective.

Forest is a colony. Mining is a collective.

Sorry, for mixing the names. However, that just shows how rarely I see that map anymore ;) Posted Image

That doesn't help me when I haven't see it on the voting screen for days. No exaggeration Posted Image

There are 64 map/mode combinations I believe. Mining is available on 4 of them (just over 6% of the options). Keeping track of a bunch of my recent matches (1289 atm), I'm on mining juuuuust under 6% of the time. So, it might be confirmation bias - but given PGI's upping/lowering maps due to demand, I'd wager we're just in a low-opportunity time frame for mining to be an option as they try to up other maps.

That being said though, you'd think I'd see Terra and Alpine all of the time based on the voting premise someone mentioned above.

Small maps don't appear when there's Escort mode to be voted, because they don't support it Posted Image
