Did anyone count all Skills in Skilltree?
I would like to know to run some numbers around it.
Actual all people are calculating with the 91 Skillpoints you can finaly insert.
But...how many would it cost to get EVERY point there is on a Mechs Skilltree.
Just think of it, PGI changes numbers in skills, we have to adapt and reskill.
So in the end it could come out, that we have to purchase the whole tree for each mech, especially if one wants to change some loadout!?!

I'm pretty sure once you've spent the 91, then you don't have to spend any more C-Bills and it's just 400 XP to place the skill point somewhere else.

If nothing changes, then no. De-selecting a skill and selecting a new one costs the full price. De-selecting a skill and then selecting a skill that has been activated before only costs 400XP. So activating all skills on the tree could cost more than 200 SP I think.

In that case, this is terrible, and PGI needs to just scrap the skill tree.

Amazing to me people still don't understand the true costs of the skill tree.
My assumption that most of the people who are "ok" with it simply don't understand the implications.

I know there are just 91 skillpoints, but there are many more skills u could go for after you change loadout of your desired model.
I wondered just how many would be possible.
Yes, i did the PTS, but dont remember the exactly number of all skills.

Okay, lets presume 200 Points, then we have this numbers:
Purchasing
200*45.000 cbills = 9.000.000 cbills
200*800 xp/gxp = 160.000 xp/gxp
Respecing costs is not so easy handled, because of the tree system.
Indeed a total respec would cost
200*400 xp/gxp = 80.000 xp/gxp
But because of the tree i presume you dont have to respec all your choices.
Example:
Most of the trees first 2 or maybe 3 lines will be needed again and so dont have to be deselected.
That way you dont have to pay 400 xp/gxp each again.
Should be correct!?!

Ah and i just forgot the last conclusion from PGI.
So there will be MORE skills then 2xx.

Node Changes
- Minor node rearrangements throughout multiple branches.
- A handful of value changes through the Firepower, Survival, and Mobility trees.
- Survival tree has been expanded to allow for two things:
- Armor Hardening, Skeletal Density, and Reinforced Casing node counts expanded allowing for higher levels of investments within the tree.
- Node layout has been greatly altered to give more player choice between paths allowing for more heavy investment in Armor Hardening versus more investment in Skeletal Density.

What's more important is what your getting for the amount of effort
First thing I did was buy almost all of the fire power nodes
