How?

I dont remember fitting 4 MPL on a TDK.

Oh, that's easy. I have my backup TDK built that way, but favor 4MLs still.

But the real answer is "quirks." They're fast, agile and can carry decent, well-quirked weapon loads. A 3A with just SRM8 in skilled hands can do a lot of harm (Can drop to a 225 for a bit more ammo on that build). The 1D is even better quirked, mix missiles and lasers and it's pretty solid.

It's a team game. If I'm in a heavy or Assault mech I'm actually paranoid enough to go into every quick match thinking "a locust is going to eat me". I seriously do. So I don't wander off by myself, and I take note of the mechs my allies are using and consider one or two that would be best suited for blowing up a locust, and then I stay remotely near them. It's that simple.

When I'm in a Light mech, it's my Purifier Kit Fox and all a Locust can do is run away from me, but they sure as hell aren't going to outfight me. Not with all the guns a Purifier can pack and adequate maneuverability to keep the locust in front of me.

As a side note previously mentioned, Streaks work just fine on them.

Ahhh...

Forgot. Havent run my TDK in over a year. Maybe it was too hot back then for MPL, dont remember.

May have to try the 1D.

3A is ok but i like the Locust-S better for some reason.
