The Rifleman IIC outclasses the Glass Spider in almost everything that it does and would make less sales. The Hellfire looks like a hitbox nightmare but the Predator looks rather interesting. It might be a good substitute for the Thresher and would fit the Civil War era timeline. Only downside I see with it is alot of PGI variants since the only other variant that it has is from the Jihad era. If PGI can make the variants interesting enough it could be a good addition to the clan 60 ton bracket.

The Pred has low cockpit syndrome for days though. You could say it's cockpit has multiple meanings from where it's placed.

Yeah I just saw where the cockpit was located on the mech. When I first saw the artwork I thought it was higher mounted. Sheesh, it's dead center to where the autocannons and missiles racks are in these images:





A shame too since it would look like a decent option for the 60 ton bracket if it wasn't for that cockpit location. 11.5 tons of armor but with an XL engine and a somewhat decent load out. Not a big fan of the fact that it only has one other canonical variant that is outside the Civil War era as well either.

Think it would be great to see the Scorpion in game but sadly, without IK, I don't think it will happen.
Wonder if IK could be active on selective mechs?

I actually like Glass Spider better than Rifleman IIC, partly because of the more interesting name and also just like the looks slightly better.

ETA: Actually, looking over the list again to redo my votes since the updates.... I'm surprised there's no Thug or Pillager on the list. Definitely two I'd vote for.

Well, I mean, PGI could take some artistic liberties and move the cockpit up to that drum-like thing on the torso....

There is a distinct lack of Daikyu in this poll. This is a problem and needs to be corrected for the universe to be in balance. A relatively fast 70 ton IS mech with a 350 XL engine, 2 UAC/5, an ER PPC, Medium Laser and LRM/5 is not something which should be so shamefully ignored. Also it looks cool.
