Why would it be Unseen?
EDIT: If you're asking because of the Stone Rhino, that design was drawn in house, and while it may superficially look like a certain Destroid, it wasn't part of any of the 'unseen deals,' so its safe.
I can definitely see HG crying about the Omega in comparison to this. It's still a very weak case if PGI did decide to release super heavies for whatever reason. Much like the rest of the IICs that are victim due to FASA's delusional paranoia.

I can't. HG's 'beef' with Battletech has always been about the designs they contracted from the Macross guys (Excluding their recent lawsuit, but that's more because the person drafting the complaint is probably blind).

Paranoia is what you are when you think there are standing threats against you. Justifiably cautious is what you are when there ARE standing threats against you.
And I know your personal Mech Waifu got caught up in the 'purge,' but try being a bit objective about it for once.

I'll stop being so obsessive compulsive about it once the whole lawsuit resolves itself. Until then, I'll keep crying myself to sleep until September 2018. *Why was I cursed with personal nostalgia to such a goofy looking mech*
Don't appear to be too many good options?? (Blackjack & owens, look okay?), hopefully I'm missing some
Other wise Clan:
Locust IIC
Vapour Eagle (this is the one I want most currently for clan)
Black Python
Blood Asp
*clans look in a good space (would survive a few nolgastic crappy looking mechs like... say the *black lanner*)
IS:
***Owens (after Raptor) - looking forward to the Orisis
Lynx
Dragon Fire
Sagittaire
Edit ** if they can compensate for SHS... cos I agree this would be terribad with SHS.

Not gonna lie, I kinda want a Toyama over the Dragon Fire because 3x ERLL + Gauss would be absolutely aces on it. It's already very good on a Rifleman, being 75 tons would take it to the next level.
Owens gonna be terribad unless PGI god-quirks it or violates lore and equips DHS (which, tbqh, is what a quirking would do in effect anyway).
BJ-O is passable. I played around with my BJ-A using an XL 180 to try it out. It was mediocre, but not unsalvageable for QP.

I kinda do want the Toyama more... but for the boxy looking ST's (I fear for them being too easily isolated, especially when i see the Thanas, hope I'm wrong (on both counts)... but its putting me off).
Oh right I forgot about the SHS... yeah scratch that. (I personally wouldn't have an issue with them going against lore or mega cooling quirks... prefer voliation of lore as seems less like to be whimsically changed).

As others stated the Owens would need uber quirks or be modified to not be terrible. I suggest the Nexus or Brigand as both would be quality 25t mechs and also give the IS a jumping 25 tonner.

Yeah I like both the Toyama and DFire a lot but I think the DFire would be substantially better at spreading dmg. I'd bet it's phallus laser becomes a chin laser and with it's shape it can do gauss + 3 erll as good as if not better than anything else. Sadly the Toya seems to lack popularity. The top heavies of moderate popularity are the DFire & Falconer it seems.

I just took a look at the Nexus on Sarna. I'd support the Nexus if it was available to vote for.
For me, I always gotta choose one Omni and one BattleMech for each side with my own reasons. So here they are:
Inner Sphere Lights:
Razorback - I used this mech in Mech Commander 2 in the House Steiner Campaigns.
Arctic Fox - I still want to see my IS inbred Kit Fox. I shall name him "Cletus".
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Hollander - It is silly, but I can see some uses for it.
Owen - Favorite in Mechwarrior 3 and 4 Mercenaries.
Mediums:
Firestarter(Omni)- Medium Omni version of the of the Firestarter that could possibly equal the Shadow Cat
Dervish - I've wanted this mech ever before the Project Pheonix mechs came out.
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Men Shen - I've used this since Mechcommander 2.
Chimera - Another MechWarrior 4 Mech I wanted to see.
Heavy:
Avatar- IS equivalent of the Mad Dog.
Argus - Feed me more Mechwarrior 4 Mechs!
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Penetrator - The sex puns are high with this one. The 6S variant with ECM even gives "surprise butsekks" its true meaning.
Black Hawk KU - IS version of the Nova Omnimech, but heavier.
Assault:
Hatamoto-Chi - House Kurita still needs its national totem mech.
Hauptmann - IS version of the Dire Wolf with a freakin laser cigar! Classiest OmniMech of House Steiner.
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Fafnir - Favorite in Mechwarrior 4. I want to see it at some point.
Sunder - Could rival the Gargoyle, favorite in Mechwarrior 3 and 4.
Clans Lights:
Fire Moth - First 20 ton Clan omni, Mechwarrior 2 classic.
Urbanmech IIC - Because the Clans want Urbanlightenment too. See?
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Howler - Would'nt mind seeing it at some point, but needs better variants.
Hellion - It's an Ice Hellion mech, so eww.
Mediums:
Black Lanner - popular 55 tonner and the Fire Moth on steroids.
Griffin IIC - Clan equivalent to Griffin.
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Shadow Hawk IIC - Clan equivalent of Shadow Hawk.
Conjurer - I wouldn't mind seeing it at some point.
Heavies:
Grizzly - A cool 2nd line garrison mech by Clan Ghost Bear.
Rifleman IIC - Mechwarrior 2 classic.
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Black Python - pretty versatile heavy.
Arcas - Has a cool name.
Assaults:
Blood Asp - It is a very popular mech that I would like to see one day.
Bane - You thought the Pirahna was gonna upset some people, then wait for this beast.
Honorable Mentions go to these mechs:
Stone Rhino - I don't have a problem with the Stone Rhino, I just like the Bane better.
Kingfisher - I wouldn't mind seeing it, but it is not my cup of tea.
I hate to be a little rain cloud but several of these are just not going to happen. Its not that they won't get voted high enough, or that PGI just hates the designs, it is that PGI has stated the game cannot handle hitreg on mechs that go superfast. They cap engines out on mechs to prevent them from going more than 165 kph. If you see a mech that goes faster, its not going to be in game.
People love the Fire Moth and they love to remind us that Russ said it would happen. But it hasnt, and here is what Russ actually said: . We have been given a "20 ton filler" (the Piranha is hardly a filler), which is debateably what Russ promised. Don't hold your breath for the Fire Moth. We have never heard word that the system can handle 190-200 kph, and we have no word that the system has been upgraded in this way.
If the pack hunter comes into the game, it is going to have a very low engine cap. That Masc model already hits 151, so the engine could only be so much bigger. Do you really want a 30 ton battlemech with and engine cap that low?

They could easily have a lower engine cap on the MASC variant and a higher one for the rest.
