Perseus would be interesting if he were implemented as an Inner Sphere ORION LEGEND.
I'd buy it if it was released as a set with Clan ORION LEGEND. (I'm not sure what would be suitable for Clan ORION, but I hope it's as tough as an Assault unit.)

The Perseus is a 75-ton Heavy IS OmniMech. It was derived from the Orion by the Free Worlds League because they favor the design. Both the A and P variants have ECM, so it could be interesting. The Clans already have the Orion IIC so it would never be a Legendary mech due to it's IS technology.

But, if there is a Clan OmniMech that I want to see though, it would be the Turkina. Given the fact that we now have the Wolves of Tukayyid representing Clan Wolf for the DLC of Mechwarrior 5: Clans, the Refusal War would be the next logical step for a future DLC for Clan Jade Falcon as with the Turkina. Lore states that the Turkina saw action in the Battle of Tukkayid and the Refusal War and it later became a mainstay design with the clan. The Kodiak was a poster child for the Clan Ghost Bear DLC and Clan Wolf had 2 well-known OmniMech designs with Linebacker and Naga. The Jade Falcon DLC could bring in 3 well-known designs: Turkina, Black Lanner (from MWO) and Fire Falcon.

As for MWO, the Executioner should have a 95-ton Omni companion and the Sovereign doesn't count because it's a legendary mech. Now I know that we have the Nightstar Clan and Bullshark as 95-ton companions, but they are not OmniMechs. While the Executioner is speedy, it's also a bit squishy. While the Executioner is a fast mover, the Turkina can act as a heavily armored weapon platform. So why should the Executioner be the only 95-ton OmniMech, when the Turkina can act as another 95-ton option?

Turkina with no changes would just be a worse direwolf with fixed jumpjets that dont do anything

quirk it so it gets no fall damage and crazy UPs when you use the jumpjets. Make it a flying clan nightmare. I'd be all for it.

Actually, what would the Turkina do that an XL270 MCII (same speed+JJs) doesn't anyway?

I tried making a mock-up Turkina-Prime and I suppose it has more slots (from not having cEndo), but the free tonnage is rather similar.
Similar case with other Turkinas with stuff like Supernova too I guess.

Dont people put bigger engines in the MKII?

anyway, double down on the jumpjet quirks. The turkina is a giant summoner. Make it jump like one. Maybe quirk it for reduced reticle shake too so it can actually poptart. I dont think that would actually be that broken in the game's current context, and it is a slow 95 ton omnimech.

Yes, but for the purpose of "bootleg Turkina" XL270+cEndo more or less matches it, decently on the variants too.
Save for again, the available slots (because cEndo+lack of engine DHS slot) really.

As for JJ quirks, I guess you'd just get a 95t Clan IS MarauderII with it then.
Though I suppose with a King Crab torso+missile ears hitbox, oh and slower.

Also speaking of JJ slow-Assaults, I personally think the DWF-S, DWF-C (So8), and the IS Marauder2 are rather undertuned, so I'd imagine the Turkina likewise without decent quirks would be as well.
Maybe not the Alpha though, that thing's just the KGC-000B with JJs straight up.

Man, the Sunder looks awesome! That thing will be a beast when it comes to MWO.

i still want to see the Rakshasa, and it would be nice to see the Mad Cat MK3 or Timberwolf MK3 for you motherless clanner dogs.
